This Quotation Estimate is issued by Aravalli Geological Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., a registered geological consultancy firm operating out of New Delhi, India, to provide comprehensive professional services rendered by a qualified Geologist for the proposed infrastructure development project located within the Delhi National Capital Territory. The Geologist engaged under this estimate shall hold a minimum of a Ph.D. in Geology from a recognized Indian university and shall possess a valid membership with the Geological Society of India (GSI) and the Indian National Science Academy (INSA).

The scope of geological services to be delivered by the Geologist in New Delhi, India, encompasses the following activities:

  • Site Geological Survey and Mapping: A detailed geological reconnaissance survey of the 12-hectare project site located in the Yamuna floodplain area of South New Delhi, India, including identification of surface and subsurface geological formations, fault lines, and alluvial deposits characteristic of the Indo-Gangetic alluvial plain.
  • Geotechnical Assessment and Soil Classification: Conducting in-situ testing, borehole drilling (minimum 6 boreholes at 30-meter depth), and laboratory analysis of soil and rock samples to determine bearing capacity, permeability, and liquefaction potential in accordance with IS 1893:2016 and IS 2720 standards applicable in India.
  • Groundwater Hydrogeological Study: Assessment of the aquifer system beneath the New Delhi site, including water table monitoring, groundwater quality sampling, and hydrogeological modeling to evaluate the impact of construction dewatering on the local water table in the Delhi region.
  • Seismic Hazard and Microzonation Analysis: Evaluation of seismic vulnerability of the project site in New Delhi, India, considering the region's proximity to the Himalayan seismic belt, and preparation of a microzonation map as per the guidelines issued by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) of India.

  1. This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, the Geologist reserves the right to revise rates due to changes in material costs, fuel prices, or regulatory requirements in India.
  2. A 50% advance payment shall be received by the Geologist's consultancy firm before mobilization of fieldwork in New Delhi, India. The remaining 50% balance shall be payable within fifteen (15) days of submission and acceptance of the final geological report.
  3. All geological data, borehole logs, laboratory reports, and the final deliverable report shall become the exclusive property of the client upon full and final payment.
  4. The Geologist shall comply with all applicable Indian regulations, including the Mines Act 1952, the Environment (Protection) Act 1986, and the Delhi Municipal Corporation (DMC) by-laws governing field investigations in New Delhi.
  5. Any change in the scope of work, additional boreholes, or extended fieldwork beyond the 15-day schedule shall be subject to a separate supplementary Quotation Estimate and written approval from both parties.
  6. Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, of India, with the seat of arbitration in New Delhi, India.
  7. This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until a formal Work Order or Service Agreement is executed by both parties.
