This Quotation Estimate is formally issued by Meso-Mesopotamia Geological Consulting Ltd. to provide a comprehensive and transparent cost breakdown for the engagement of a qualified Geologist and supporting geological team to conduct subsurface investigation, geological mapping, and environmental site assessment services within the metropolitan area of Iraq Baghdad. This document serves as a binding financial proposal and outlines the scope of professional geological work, associated labor costs, equipment charges, and all applicable fees required to deliver the contracted services in full compliance with Iraqi Ministry of Natural Resources regulations and international geological engineering standards.
The Geologist and the accompanying field team will undertake the following activities across designated sites in and around Iraq Baghdad:
- Geological Mapping and Terrain Analysis: Detailed surface and subsurface geological mapping of the Tigris River floodplain, the Mesopotamian alluvial plain, and the western limestone escarpments bordering the Baghdad metropolitan region. The Geologist will produce 1:5,000 scale geological maps identifying lithological units, fault lines, and sedimentary sequences characteristic of the Iraqi basin.
- Subsurface Borehole Investigation: Drilling and logging of a minimum of twelve (12) exploratory boreholes at depths ranging from 15 to 80 meters to characterize the stratigraphic column, identify aquifer layers, and assess the presence of hydrocarbon-bearing formations beneath the Iraq Baghdad urban and peri-urban zones.
- Geotechnical and Geophysical Surveys: Execution of seismic refraction surveys, electrical resistivity tomography (ERT), and standard penetration tests (SPT) to evaluate soil bearing capacity, liquefaction potential, and groundwater table fluctuations relevant to infrastructure development projects in Iraq Baghdad.
- Environmental and Contamination Assessment: The Geologist will conduct soil and groundwater sampling at former industrial and military sites within the Iraq Baghdad governorate to identify heavy metal contamination, residual hydrocarbon pollution, and radionuclide anomalies, producing a full environmental baseline report.
- Hydrogeological Evaluation: Quantitative assessment of the Quaternary alluvial aquifer system underlying Iraq Baghdad, including recharge rate estimation, water quality analysis, and sustainable yield calculations to support municipal water supply planning.
- Final Technical Report and Data Delivery: Compilation of all field data, laboratory results, and interpretive models into a comprehensive final report, accompanied by GIS layers, borehole logs, and a digital data package delivered to the client within thirty (30) days of fieldwork completion.
