This Quotation Estimate outlines the professional services to be rendered by a licensed Geologist and supporting geological team for the assessment of subsurface conditions, soil stability, and geological hazards in the Japan Kyoto metropolitan area. The scope encompasses the following deliverables:
- Site Reconnaissance and Desktop Study: Review of existing geological maps, seismic records, and historical landslide data specific to the Japan Kyoto region, including the Kameyama Formation and the Kyoto Basin sedimentary sequences.
- Field Geological Survey: A qualified Geologist will conduct on-site investigations across a minimum of 12 borehole locations distributed throughout the designated project area in Japan Kyoto. This includes core sampling, Standard Penetration Tests (SPT), and in-situ shear wave velocity measurements.
- Geotechnical Laboratory Analysis: All collected soil and rock samples will be transported to an accredited laboratory in Japan Kyoto for grain size distribution, Atterberg limits, unconfined compressive strength, and triaxial testing in accordance with Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS A 1202, JIS A 1203).
- Seismic and Liquefaction Assessment: Evaluation of seismic vulnerability and liquefaction potential for the Japan Kyoto site, considering the region's proximity to the Nankai Trough and the historical seismicity of the Kyoto Basin.
- Hydrogeological Investigation: Groundwater level monitoring, permeability testing, and assessment of potential contamination pathways relevant to the Japan Kyoto urban environment.
- Final Geological Report: A comprehensive technical report prepared by the lead Geologist, including interpretive cross-sections, foundation recommendations, slope stability analyses, and risk mitigation strategies tailored to the Japan Kyoto geological context.
