This Quotation Estimate is formally issued by Atlas Geoservices & Consulting SARL to Immeuble Dar Al-Binaa SARL in relation to the engagement of a qualified Geologist and associated geological survey team for the execution of comprehensive subsurface investigation and geotechnical assessment services. The scope of work described herein pertains specifically to the residential development project located in the Ain Sebaa industrial zone of Morocco Casablanca, where the client intends to construct a multi-storey residential complex requiring rigorous geological and geotechnical verification prior to foundation design and construction commencement.

Our firm has been operating in the Morocco Casablanca region for over fifteen years, providing specialized Geologist services to construction developers, public infrastructure authorities, and industrial operators. This Quotation Estimate reflects our standard professional rates, adjusted for the specific geological complexity of the Ain Sebaa basin area, which is characterized by heterogeneous alluvial deposits, variable groundwater levels, and localized seismic considerations in accordance with the Moroccan Seismic Zoning Regulation (RPS 2011).

The Geologist and the supporting field team engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall perform the following activities at the project site in Morocco Casablanca:

  • Desktop Geological Review: Compilation and analysis of existing geological maps, hydrogeological data, and prior borehole records for the Ain Sebaa district of Casablanca. This includes review of the Moroccan Geological Survey (Service Géologique du Maroc) publications and regional seismic hazard assessments.
  • Field Reconnaissance and Site Mapping: A minimum of three (3) full working days of on-site geological mapping by the lead Geologist, including identification of surface lithologies, fault traces, erosion features, and potential landslide-prone zones within the 2,400 m² plot boundary.
  • Borehole Drilling and Sampling: Execution of six (6) boreholes to a minimum depth of 25 metres below ground level, spaced in a 3×2 grid pattern across the plot. Each borehole shall be drilled using a rotary core-drilling rig, with continuous core recovery and systematic sampling at 1.5-metre intervals.
  • Geotechnical Laboratory Testing: Standard Proctor compaction tests, Atterberg limits, unconfined compressive strength tests, triaxial shear tests, and grain-size distribution analyses on a minimum of 48 soil and rock samples, conducted at our accredited laboratory in Casablanca.
  • Groundwater Assessment: Installation of two (2) temporary piezometers to monitor the seasonal water table, with a 14-day observation period to determine the maximum and minimum groundwater levels relevant to foundation design in Morocco Casablanca.
  • Seismic Microzonation Input: Provision of a preliminary site-specific seismic response assessment, including estimation of the site class (A through E) per RPS 2011, to be incorporated into the structural engineering design.
  • Final Geological and Geotechnical Report: Preparation of a comprehensive 60-page technical report in both French and English, including borehole logs, cross-sections, laboratory results, foundation recommendations, and a risk matrix. The report shall be issued in three (3) hard-bound copies and one (1) digital PDF copy.
