1. Scope of Work – Geologist Services in Nepal KathmanduThis Quotation Estimate is issued by Himalayan Geological Survey & Consulting Pvt. Ltd. to provide comprehensive geological consulting services delivered by a qualified Geologist and supporting field team for infrastructure development projects within the Nepal Kathmandu metropolitan area. The scope encompasses geological site investigation, subsurface characterization, seismic hazard assessment, and geotechnical reporting for a proposed multi-storey public building complex in the Baneshwor district of Kathmandu Valley.
The assigned Geologist holds a Master of Science in Geology from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, and possesses over twelve years of field experience in the tectonically active Nepal Kathmandu region. All work shall comply with the Nepal Building Code (NBC 2015), the Department of Disaster Management Prevention guidelines, and the standards set forth by the Geological Survey Department of Nepal.

3. Terms and Conditions of This Quotation Estimate3.1 This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, rates may be revised to reflect changes in material costs, fuel prices, or regulatory requirements in Nepal Kathmandu.
3.2 The Geologist and field team shall mobilize to the project site in Nepal Kathmandu within seven (7) working days of receiving a signed purchase order and the initial advance payment.
3.3 All geological data, core samples, and reports generated under this engagement shall become the exclusive property of the client upon full settlement of the invoiced amount.
3.4 The Geologist reserves the right to issue supplementary reports or revised recommendations if unforeseen subsurface conditions are encountered during drilling that materially alter the initial geological model of the Nepal Kathmandu site.
3.5 Any change in scope, additional boreholes, or extended fieldwork beyond the quantities stated in this Quotation Estimate shall be subject to a separate written amendment and additional cost approval by the client.
3.6 The contractor shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of not less than NPR 50,000,000 covering all geological and geotechnical services rendered in Nepal Kathmandu.
3.7 Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the resulting contract shall be resolved through arbitration in Kathmandu, Nepal, in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 1995 of Nepal.
