All prices are quoted in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include 15% Goods and Services Tax (GST) as required by the Inland Revenue Department, New Zealand Wellington.
- Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, the Geologist reserves the right to revise pricing due to changes in material costs, labour rates, or availability in New Zealand Wellington.
- Payment Terms: 30% deposit upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate; 40% upon completion of fieldwork; 30% upon delivery of the final Geologist's report. All payments are due within fourteen (14) days of invoice date.
- Scope Limitations: This Quotation Estimate covers the geological and geotechnical assessment as described above. Any additional boreholes, extended laboratory testing, or specialist investigations (e.g., environmental contamination, karst geology) will be quoted separately by the Geologist.
- Access and Permits: The client is responsible for obtaining all necessary site access permissions, resource consents, and environmental authorisations required by the Wellington Regional Council and New Zealand Wellington local authorities prior to the commencement of fieldwork.
- Health and Safety: The Geologist and all field personnel will comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 (New Zealand) and the site-specific safety management plan. The client must provide a valid Site Safety Plan before mobilisation.
- Confidentiality: All geological data, reports, and findings produced by the Geologist under this Quotation Estimate are the intellectual property of the client and shall not be disclosed to third parties without written consent.
- Liability: The Geologist's liability under this Quotation Estimate is limited to the total value of the contract. The Geologist shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the interpretation of geological data.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of New Zealand, with jurisdiction in the District Court, New Zealand Wellington.
By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts this Quotation Estimate for Geologist services to be delivered in New Zealand Wellington. The Geologist will commence work within five (5) business days of receiving the 30% deposit and written confirmation.
