This Quotation Estimate is prepared for the engagement of a qualified Geologist and supporting geological field team to conduct comprehensive geological and geotechnical investigations for the proposed highway expansion project in the Pakistan Islamabad metropolitan region. The Geologist shall be responsible for site reconnaissance, rock and soil sampling, geological mapping, slope stability assessment, and preparation of a detailed geological report in accordance with the Pakistan Bureau of Mines (PBM) standards and the Geological Survey of Pakistan (GSP) guidelines.

The Geologist assigned to this project shall hold a minimum of a Master's degree in Geology or Geological Engineering from a recognized university in Pakistan Islamabad (such as Quaid-i-Azam University, University of Engineering and Technology, or National University of Sciences and Technology) and possess a minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience in engineering geology, particularly in the Karakoram-Himalayan geological belt surrounding the Pakistan Islamabad capital territory.

  • This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, rates may be revised due to market fluctuations in fuel, equipment, and labor costs in Pakistan Islamabad.
  • The Geologist and field team shall comply with all applicable regulations of the Geological Survey of Pakistan, the Pakistan Bureau of Mines, and the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) environmental authorities.
  • Payment terms: 30% advance upon acceptance of this quotation, 40% upon completion of fieldwork, and 30% upon submission and approval of the final Geological Investigation Report.
  • All work shall be conducted in strict adherence to the HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) protocols mandated for field operations in the hilly terrain surrounding Pakistan Islamabad.
  • The Geologist shall submit a weekly progress report to the client's Project Director every Friday by 5:00 PM.
  • Any change in scope, additional boreholes, or extended field duration shall be subject to a supplementary Quotation Estimate issued separately and approved in writing by both parties.
  • Disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 1940, with the seat of arbitration in Islamabad, Pakistan.
  • This quotation does not constitute a binding contract until a formal Purchase Order or Service Agreement is executed by both parties.
Note: The above Quotation Estimate assumes standard geological conditions typical of the Margalla Hills formation (shale, siltstone, and limestone). If significant adverse ground conditions (e.g., active fault zones, karst cavities, or high groundwater pressure) are encountered, the Geologist shall notify the client within 48 hours, and a revised estimate will be provided. All rates are quoted in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and are exclusive of any withholding tax as per the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) regulations applicable in Pakistan Islamabad.
