Scope of Work – Geologist Services in Sri Lanka ColomboThis Quotation Estimate is issued by GeoSri Lanka Consulting Engineers & Geologists (Pvt) Ltd. for the provision of professional Geologist services to be carried out in Sri Lanka Colombo and its immediate surrounding areas. The scope encompasses a comprehensive geological and geotechnical site investigation to support the design and construction of a proposed 28-storey commercial and residential complex located in the Colombo 07 district. Our team of qualified Geologist professionals will conduct field investigations, laboratory analyses, and produce detailed engineering geological reports in full compliance with Sri Lankan building codes, the Department of Structural Engineering (DSE) guidelines, and international best practices.

4. Project Duration and MilestonesThe total estimated duration for the completion of all Geologist services under this Quotation Estimate is twelve (12) weeks from the date of contract signing. The field investigation phase in Sri Lanka Colombo is expected to span six weeks, followed by four weeks of laboratory testing and data analysis, and two weeks for the preparation and submission of the final geological report. Weekly progress reports will be submitted to the client by the lead Geologist.
5. Terms and Conditions- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Prices are subject to revision upon expiry.
- Payment terms: 30% advance payment upon contract signing, 40% upon completion of field investigation, and 30% upon submission and acceptance of the final geological report.
- All payments shall be made in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) via bank transfer to the account of GeoSri Lanka Consulting Engineers & Geologists (Pvt) Ltd.
- The Geologist team shall comply with all applicable Sri Lankan environmental regulations, occupational health and safety standards, and local municipal by-laws in Colombo.
- Any additional boreholes, extended laboratory testing, or scope changes beyond the quantities stated herein shall be subject to a separate supplementary Quotation Estimate.
- The final report and all data shall become the property of the client upon full payment. Our firm retains the right to use anonymized data for academic and professional reference purposes.
- Force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-imposed restrictions, or monsoon-related site inaccessibility in Sri Lanka Colombo, may result in schedule adjustments by mutual agreement.
- Disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through arbitration in Colombo in accordance with the Arbitration Act of Sri Lanka.
By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts this Quotation Estimate for the Geologist services described herein to be executed in Sri Lanka Colombo. This document, once countersigned by both parties, shall constitute a binding agreement for the services outlined.
