This Quotation Estimate is issued by Lakefront Geological Consulting Group, LLC to provide comprehensive professional Geologist services for the above-referenced development project located in the Fulton Market district of United States Chicago. - This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiration date, all rates and availability of the Geologist team must be reconfirmed in writing.
- All services described herein shall be performed by or under the direct supervision of a Professional Geologist licensed by the State of Illinois and registered with the National Board of Professional Geologists (NPG).
- Payment terms: 30% deposit due upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate; 40% due upon completion of fieldwork and laboratory analysis; 30% due upon delivery of the final Geologist's report. All payments are due within fifteen (15) days of invoice date.
- The estimated project duration is approximately eight (8) to ten (10) weeks from the date of mobilization, subject to weather conditions, regulatory review timelines in United States Chicago, and client approval of interim deliverables.
- Any work beyond the scope defined in this Quotation Estimate (e.g., additional boreholes, extended monitoring periods, or unforeseen contaminated-substance remediation) will be billed separately at the hourly rates of the assigned Geologist ($285/hr for senior geologists; $165/hr for field technicians) plus applicable material and equipment costs.
- All geological data, core samples, and reports generated under this engagement remain the intellectual property of Lakefront Geological Consulting Group, LLC until full payment is received. Upon final payment, the client receives a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use the data for the specific project located in United States Chicago.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a guarantee of specific geological conditions. The Geologist's findings are based on the data available at the time of investigation and standard professional practice. The client acknowledges that subsurface conditions may vary and that additional investigation may be warranted.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois and the United States. Jurisdiction for any legal proceedings shall lie exclusively in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Chicago, Illinois.
- Lakefront Geological Consulting Group, LLC carries professional liability insurance of $5,000,000 per occurrence and general liability insurance of $2,000,000, both compliant with United States federal and Illinois state requirements for geological consulting firms operating in Chicago.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and authorizes Lakefront Geological Consulting Group, LLC to commence the Geologist services described herein for the project in United States Chicago, subject to the terms and conditions stated above.
