- Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiration date, all rates and availability of the assigned Geologist are subject to revision.
- Payment Schedule: 30% upon execution of the contract, 40% upon completion of all fieldwork (drilling, trenching, and sampling), and 30% upon delivery of the final Geotechnical and Geological Investigation Report.
- Scope Limitations: This Quotation Estimate covers the geological and geotechnical investigation as described in Section 3. It does not include structural design, environmental impact assessment (CEQA), or remediation of any contaminated soils that may be encountered.
- Regulatory Compliance: All fieldwork will be conducted in compliance with the San Francisco Building Code, the California Geological Commission (CGC) regulations, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) permits where applicable within the United States San Francisco jurisdiction.
- Access and Safety: The client shall provide safe and unrestricted access to the project site. All field personnel, including the lead Geologist, will comply with OSHA standards and San Francisco municipal safety ordinances.
- Change Orders: Any additional work beyond the scope defined in this Quotation Estimate will be subject to a written change order approved by both parties prior to commencement.
- Confidentiality: All geological data, borehole logs, and reports produced under this engagement are the proprietary property of the client and shall not be disclosed to third parties without written consent.
- Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting contract shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, with jurisdiction in the Superior Court of San Francisco County.
