Dear Mr. Chen,
Thank you for the opportunity to prepare this Quotation Estimate for the engagement of a senior Industrial Engineer to support Meridian Manufacturing Group's production line optimisation initiative. This Quotation Estimate has been prepared in accordance with the scope of work discussed during our site visit on 28 May 2025 at your Dandenong South facility in the Australia Melbourne metropolitan area. All rates and charges outlined below reflect current market pricing for qualified Industrial Engineer services delivered within the Australia Melbourne region and comply with the Fair Work Ombudsman's minimum wage and award conditions applicable to engineering professionals in Victoria.
1. Scope of Services – Industrial Engineer EngagementThe Industrial Engineer engaged under this Quotation Estimate will provide the following professional services at your Australia Melbourne manufacturing site:
- Comprehensive time-and-motion studies across all three production lines to identify bottlenecks and non-value-added activities.
- Workstation layout redesign and ergonomic assessment in compliance with Safe Work Australia guidelines and Victorian WorkSafe requirements.

This Quotation Estimate is structured with the following payment schedule, all amounts in Australian Dollars (AUD) and inclusive of 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST) as required by the Australian Taxation Office:
- 30% deposit ($26,320.80) due upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate and execution of the service agreement.
- 40% progress payment ($35,094.40) due upon completion of the lean manufacturing implementation phase (end of Week 5).
- 30% final payment ($26,320.80) due within 14 business days of the final project close-out presentation.
All invoices are payable by direct bank transfer to Apex Industrial Solutions Pty Ltd, BSB 062-000, Account No. 1234 5678, or by EFTPOS. Late payments will attract interest at the rate prescribed under the Australian Consumer Law (currently 10% per annum) as applicable in Australia Melbourne and the state of Victoria.
4. Terms and Conditions- This Quotation Estimate is valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, all rates are subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions for Industrial Engineer services in the Australia Melbourne region.
- The Industrial Engineer assigned to this project holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Industrial) from the University of Melbourne, is a Chartered Engineer (CPEng) with Engineers Australia, and carries a minimum of 12 years' post-qualification experience in discrete manufacturing environments.
- Apex Industrial Solutions Pty Ltd maintains a minimum of $20 million in professional indemnity insurance and $10 million in public liability insurance, as is standard practice for engineering consultancy firms operating in Australia Melbourne.
- The client (Meridian Manufacturing Group) shall provide safe access to all production areas, relevant process documentation, and a dedicated on-site contact person for the duration of the engagement.
- All intellectual property, reports, and deliverables produced by the Industrial Engineer under this Quotation Estimate shall become the sole property of the client upon full and final payment.
- Any variation to the scope of work must be agreed in writing by both parties prior to commencement. Variations exceeding 10% of the original Quotation Estimate value will require a revised Quotation Estimate to be issued.
- This engagement is governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved through the Victorian Small Claims Commission or, where the amount exceeds the jurisdictional limit, by the Supreme Court of Victoria in Australia Melbourne.
- The Industrial Engineer shall comply with all applicable Australian Standards (AS/NZS), Safe Work Australia regulations, and Meridian Manufacturing Group's internal health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies while on site.
By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts this Quotation Estimate for Industrial Engineer services to be delivered in Australia Melbourne under the terms and conditions set out herein. This signature constitutes a binding agreement between Apex Industrial Solutions Pty Ltd and Meridian Manufacturing Group.
