This Quotation Estimate is formally issued by Optima Engineering Solutions S.r.l. to Colonna Manufacturing Group S.p.A. for the provision of comprehensive Industrial Engineer consultancy and operational optimisation services to be executed at the client's production and logistics facilities located in Italy Rome, specifically within the EUR industrial district. This document outlines the full scope of professional services, associated costs, timelines, and contractual terms governing the engagement of our Industrial Engineer team for the duration of the project.
The Quotation Estimate has been prepared in strict compliance with Italian commercial regulations (Codice Civile, Articles 1321–1341) and the applicable provisions of the Italian Chamber of Commerce for the Rome metropolitan area. All pricing is expressed in Euros and includes applicable Italian Value Added Tax (IVA) at the standard rate of 22%, unless otherwise stated.
The Industrial Engineer services proposed under this Quotation Estimate encompass the following deliverables to be performed on-site in Italy Rome:
- Process Mapping and Value Stream Analysis: The assigned Industrial Engineer shall conduct a full end-to-end value stream mapping of the client's automotive component assembly lines at the Rome facility, identifying bottlenecks, redundancies, and non-value-adding activities across all three production shifts.
- Lean Manufacturing Implementation: Development and deployment of a Lean Manufacturing programme tailored to the operational context of Italy Rome, including 5S workplace organisation, Kanban inventory systems, and Standard Work documentation for a minimum of 120 production operators.

The total estimated duration of the Industrial Engineer engagement in Italy Rome is approximately 22 weeks (5 months), commencing on the date of written acceptance of this Quotation Estimate. A detailed Gantt chart, including milestone dates and deliverable handover points, is attached as Appendix A to this document. All on-site work will be conducted Monday through Friday, 08:00–17:00 CET, in accordance with Italian labour regulations (D.Lgs. 81/2008) governing safety and working hours at industrial sites in Rome.
5.1 Payment shall be made in four equal instalments of € 37,213.05 (incl. IVA), due at the following milestones: (a) upon signed acceptance of this Quotation Estimate; (b) upon completion of the Lean Manufacturing pilot (Week 8); (c) upon delivery of the logistics redesign package (Week 16); and (d) upon final project close-out and acceptance of the technical report (Week 22).
5.2 All payments shall be made via bank transfer (bonifico bancario) to the IBAN specified on the corresponding invoice issued by Optima Engineering Solutions S.r.l. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate prescribed by Italian law (Legge 296/2006, Art. 1).
5.3 This Quotation Estimate is valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue. Should the client wish to proceed beyond this validity period, a revised Quotation Estimate reflecting any changes in material costs, labour rates, or exchange-rate adjustments will be issued at no additional charge.
5.4 Any scope changes, additional Industrial Engineer resources, or extensions of the project timeline beyond the originally agreed 22-week window in Italy Rome will be subject to a formal Change Order, to be agreed in writing by both parties prior to execution.
5.5 This engagement is governed by the laws of the Italian Republic. Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent service contract shall be resolved by the competent courts of Rome, Italy, or by arbitration before the Camera di Commercio di Roma, at the client's election.
5.6 Optima Engineering Solutions S.r.l. warrants that all Industrial Engineer personnel assigned to this project in Italy Rome hold valid professional registrations with the Ordine degli Ingegneri della Provincia di Roma and carry comprehensive professional liability insurance (RC Professionale) with a minimum coverage of € 2,000,000 per claim.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and authorises Optima Engineering Solutions S.r.l. to commence the Industrial Engineer services described herein at the designated facility in Italy Rome, under the financial and contractual terms set out in this document.
