2. Scope of Work – Industrial Engineer ServicesThe Industrial Engineer engaged under this Quotation Estimate will perform the following duties across the client's facilities in New Zealand Auckland and surrounding industrial zones including Takanini, Penrose, and the Auckland Airport industrial precinct:
- Conduct a full value-stream mapping exercise across all three production lines at the Port Waikato facility.
- Perform time-and-motion studies to identify bottlenecks, reduce cycle times, and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Design and implement a lean manufacturing framework aligned with ISO 9001:2015 quality management standards.
- Develop ergonomic workstation assessments in compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 (New Zealand).
- Prepare a capital expenditure (CapEx) recommendation report for automation upgrades, including ROI analysis.
- Deliver two on-site training workshops for shift supervisors at the Auckland facility.
- Provide a final comprehensive report with 90-day and 12-month implementation roadmaps.

4.1 Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Should the client wish to proceed after the expiry date, Apex Industrial Solutions Ltd reserves the right to revise the pricing to reflect current market rates for Industrial Engineer services in New Zealand Auckland.
4.2 Payment Terms: Payment is due within fourteen (14) days of invoice date. A 25% deposit is required upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate to secure the Industrial Engineer's availability. The remaining balance shall be invoiced in three equal monthly instalments aligned with project milestones.
4.3 Cancellation: Should the client cancel the engagement prior to commencement, the 25% deposit shall be non-refundable. Cancellation during the project term will incur a fee of 50% of the remaining uncompleted work value.
4.4 Intellectual Property: All reports, process maps, simulation models, and recommendations produced by the Industrial Engineer under this engagement shall become the property of the client upon full payment. Apex Industrial Solutions Ltd retains the right to use anonymised data for internal benchmarking purposes.
4.5 Insurance & Compliance: Apex Industrial Solutions Ltd maintains Public Liability Insurance of $20,000,000 and Professional Indemnity Insurance of $5,000,000, both compliant with New Zealand regulatory requirements. The Industrial Engineer is a registered member of Engineers New Zealand (ENZ) and holds a valid Practising Certificate.
4.6 Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes shall be resolved through the Disputes Tribunal or the District Court of Auckland, New Zealand.
4.7 Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters (earthquakes, volcanic activity), government-mandated closures, or pandemics affecting operations in New Zealand Auckland.
5. AcceptanceBy signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts this Quotation Estimate for the engagement of the Industrial Engineer and associated services as described herein. This acceptance constitutes a binding agreement between the parties under New Zealand contract law.
