3.1 Validity. This Quotation Estimate remains valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiration date, all rates and availability of the assigned Journalist are subject to revision without prior notice.
3.2 Payment Terms. A non-refundable deposit of forty percent (40%) of the total estimated cost, amounting to R$ 15,340.00, is due upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate. The remaining sixty percent (60%), amounting to R$ 23,010.00, shall be settled within fifteen (15) business days following the final delivery of all journalistic materials. Payment shall be made via bank transfer (TED/PIX) to the account details provided by Brasília Media & Communications Ltda.
3.3 Intellectual Property. Upon full payment, the client shall receive a non-exclusive, perpetual license to reproduce, distribute, and publish all written, photographic, and video content produced by the Journalist under this engagement. The Journalist retains the right to include the work in a professional portfolio and to reference the assignment in future professional contexts.
3.4 Cancellation and Rescheduling. The client may cancel or reschedule any individual service item listed in Section 2 with a minimum of seventy-two (72) hours' written notice. Cancellations made within seventy-two hours of the scheduled service date will incur a fee of fifty percent (50%) of the itemized cost for that specific service.
3.5 Professional Standards. The Journalist engaged under this Quotation Estimate is a registered member in good standing of the Brazilian Press Council and adheres to the Code of Ethics of the Brazilian Journalist. All reporting will be conducted with impartiality, accuracy, and respect for the rights of all parties involved, in accordance with the Federal Constitution of Brazil and the Civil Code.
3.6 Force Majeure. Neither party shall be held liable for delays or non-performance resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to government shutdowns, natural disasters, public health emergencies, or legislative recesses in Brasília that prevent access to reporting venues.
3.7 Governing Law. This Quotation Estimate and any resulting contractual relationship shall be governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, with exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brasília, Distrito Federal.
