The Journalist engaged under this Quotation Estimate will provide the following professional services within the city of São Paulo, Brazil:

• News Reporting and Field Coverage: On-site reporting at press conferences, corporate events, government briefings, and public gatherings across the São Paulo metropolitan area, including the districts of Pinheiros, Moema, Vila Mariana, and the central business district (Berrini, Faria Lima, and Avenida Paulista).
• Editorial Content Production: Writing, editing, and publishing of long-form articles, investigative pieces, opinion columns, and feature stories tailored to the client's publication or digital platform, with all reporting conducted in Brazil, São Paulo.
• Interviews and Source Development: Conducting in-depth interviews with industry leaders, public officials, and community stakeholders in São Paulo, leveraging the Journalist's established network of contacts within the Brazilian media landscape.
• Multimedia Content: Production of photo essays, video reportage, and audio recordings to complement written Journalist deliverables, all captured on location in São Paulo, Brazil.
• Press Release and Corporate Communications: Drafting and distributing press releases, media advisories, and corporate statements in coordination with the client's communications team, with distribution targeting Brazilian and international media outlets.
• Media Training and Advisory: Providing up to two (2) sessions of media training for the client's spokespersons, conducted at the client's office in São Paulo or at the Journalist's studio in the Moema district.

Payment for the Journalist services outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be made according to the following schedule, with all transactions processed in Brazilian Reais (BRL) via bank transfer (TED/PIX) to the account designated by the Journalist in São Paulo, Brazil:

• 30% Advance Payment: Due upon signing and acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, prior to the commencement of any Journalist fieldwork in São Paulo.
• 40% Mid-Project Payment: Due upon delivery of the sixth (6th) long-form article and completion of the first investigative project.
• 30% Final Payment: Due upon final delivery of all remaining Journalist deliverables and receipt of the final project report.

Late payments shall incur a monthly interest charge of 1.5% (juros moratórios) in accordance with Brazilian commercial law (Código Civil, Art. 406).

• This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, the Journalist reserves the right to revise pricing due to market fluctuations in São Paulo, Brazil.
• All intellectual property rights to the Journalist's written, photographic, and audiovisual work shall transfer to the client upon full payment, as stipulated in the separate Service Agreement to be executed in São Paulo.
• The Journalist shall comply with all applicable Brazilian labor laws, press freedom regulations (Constituição Federal, Art. 5º, XIV), and the ethical code of the Brazilian Journalists' Union.
• Any changes to the scope of Journalist services beyond what is described in this Quotation Estimate must be approved in writing by both parties and may result in a revised cost estimate.
• The Journalist shall maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of R$ 500,000.00, valid throughout the duration of the engagement in São Paulo, Brazil.
• Force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, civil unrest, or government-mandated shutdowns in São Paulo, shall suspend obligations under this Quotation Estimate without penalty to either party.
