Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Any acceptance beyond this period requires a revised Quotation Estimate reflecting current market rates in China Shanghai.
Payment Terms: A deposit of 40% of the Grand Total (CNY 103,074.40) is due within five (5) business days of written acceptance. The remaining 60% (CNY 154,611.60) shall be settled within fifteen (15) business days of final delivery and client sign-off on all Journalist-produced deliverables.
Currency and Payment Method: All amounts are quoted in Chinese Yuan (CNY / RMB). Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the account of Shanghai Media & Communications Ltd. at Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), Shanghai Branch. The client's bank charges, if any, are borne by the client.
Journalist Availability and Substitution: The specific Journalist named in the project brief is subject to availability. In the event of unavoidable absence, an equivalent or senior Journalist with comparable credentials and experience in China Shanghai will be substituted with prior written consent from the client.
Intellectual Property: Upon full payment, all rights to the Journalist's written, photographic, and video content produced under this engagement shall transfer to the client. The Journalist retains the right to display the work in a professional portfolio with the client's written permission.
Regulatory Compliance: All reporting and publication activities conducted by the Journalist in China Shanghai shall comply with the Press Law of the People's Republic of China, the Cybersecurity Law, and all applicable local regulations of the Shanghai Municipal Government. The client is responsible for obtaining any additional permits or approvals required for specific locations or subjects.
Revisions: The Quotation Estimate includes up to two (2) rounds of editorial revisions per deliverable. Additional revision cycles will be billed at CNY 1,200 per hour for the Journalist's time.
Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays or non-performance caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-mandated closures, or public health emergencies affecting operations in China Shanghai.
Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes shall be resolved through arbitration at the Shanghai International Arbitration Center (SHIAC).
