This Quotation Estimate is structured with the following payment schedule to ensure continuity of the Journalist's services throughout the engagement period in Colombia Medellín:
30% advance payment upon contract signing (approximately $17,307,360 COP).
40% due at the midpoint of the 12-week project (approximately $23,076,480 COP).
30% final payment upon delivery of all remaining deliverables and client sign-off (approximately $17,307,360 COP).
All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the account designated by Restrepo Media Solutions, NIT 901.234.567-8, Banco de Bogotá, Medellín branch. Late payments will incur a monthly interest rate of 1.5% in accordance with Colombian commercial law (Código de Comercio).
4.1 This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, pricing may be subject to revision based on market conditions in the Medellín media industry.
4.2 The Journalist retains full editorial independence and the right to refuse assignments that violate Colombian press freedom laws or ethical journalism standards.
4.3 All content produced under this engagement in Colombia Medellín shall be the intellectual property of the client upon full payment, with the Journalist retaining the right to use excerpts for portfolio purposes.
4.4 The client agrees to provide reasonable access to locations, sources, and materials necessary for the Journalist to perform duties within the Medellín metropolitan area.
4.5 Any changes to the scope of work must be documented in a written addendum to this Quotation Estimate and signed by both parties before additional services commence.
4.6 This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any disputes shall be resolved through the competent courts of Medellín, Antioquia.
4.7 The Journalist shall comply with all data protection regulations under Law 1581 of 2012 (Ley de Protección de Datos Personales) when handling personal information of sources and subjects in Medellín.
