The Journalist assigned to this project holds a minimum of ten years of professional experience in investigative and editorial journalism within Germany Berlin. The Journalist is a registered member of the German Journalists' Association (Deutscher Journalisten-Verband) and operates in full compliance with the German Press Law (Pressegesetz) and all applicable media regulations in Germany Berlin. The Journalist will be available on-site in Germany Berlin for the duration specified in this Quotation Estimate and will report directly to the client's designated project lead.
The Journalist engagement under this Quotation Estimate is scheduled to commence on 1 August 2025 and conclude on 30 September 2025, subject to mutual agreement. All deliverables, including written articles, multimedia assets, and interview transcripts, will be submitted to the client via secure digital transfer within 48 hours of completion. The Journalist will provide weekly progress reports to the client throughout the engagement period in Germany Berlin.
Payment for the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be made as follows: 40% advance payment upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, 40% upon completion of the mid-project milestone (end of August 2025), and the remaining 20% upon final delivery and client sign-off. All payments are to be made via bank transfer to the account of Berlin Media Solutions GmbH. Invoices will be issued in accordance with German tax regulations applicable in Germany Berlin. Late payments will incur interest at the statutory rate of 8% above the European Central Bank base rate.
6.1 This Quotation Estimate is valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiry date, all rates and terms are subject to revision.
6.2 The Journalist retains full editorial independence in accordance with German press freedom standards. The client may request revisions but may not dictate the Journalist's factual reporting or editorial judgment.
6.3 All intellectual property rights in the final deliverables produced by the Journalist shall transfer to the client upon full payment, as governed by German copyright law (Urheberrechtsgesetz).
6.4 The Journalist shall maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of EUR 1,000,000, valid throughout the engagement period in Germany Berlin.
6.5 Any changes to the scope of work beyond the parameters defined in this Quotation Estimate will require a written amendment signed by both parties.
6.6 This Quotation Estimate is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts in Berlin, Germany.
