- Acceptance: This Quotation Estimate shall become a binding agreement upon written acceptance and signing by both parties. The Journalist engagement shall commence within seven (7) working days of the signed acceptance, with the first working day falling in India New Delhi.
- Payment Schedule: 40% advance payment upon signing, 30% upon completion of the first month of Journalist services, and the remaining 30% upon final delivery of all deliverables. All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the account of Delhi Chronicle Media Services Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi.
- Intellectual Property: All written, photographic, and multimedia content produced by the Journalist under this engagement shall remain the exclusive property of the client upon full payment. The Journalist retains the right to use anonymized excerpts for professional portfolio purposes only.
- Confidentiality: The Journalist shall adhere to strict confidentiality protocols as mandated by the Press and Registration of Periodicals Act, 1867, and the Information Technology Act, 2000, applicable in India New Delhi and across India.
- Revisions: Two (2) rounds of editorial revisions per deliverable are included. Additional revisions shall be billed at ’2,500 per round per deliverable.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Quotation Estimate agreement with a written notice of fourteen (14) days. In such cases, the client shall be liable for all services rendered up to the termination date.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be held liable for delays caused by natural disasters, government-imposed curfews in India New Delhi, or other events beyond reasonable control.
- Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India New Delhi.
