- Validity: This Quotation Estimate for Journalist services in Ivory Coast Abidjan is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiry date, rates may be subject to revision based on market conditions in Abidjan.
- Payment Terms: A non-refundable deposit of 40% of the total Quotation Estimate amount is due upon acceptance. The remaining 60% shall be payable in two equal installments: 30% at the midpoint of the engagement and 30% upon final delivery of all Journalist deliverables. All payments shall be made in XOF (CFA Franc) via bank transfer to the account of MediaPro West Africa Ltd., Bank of Africa, Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
- Journalist Availability: The assigned Journalist shall be available Monday through Friday, 08:00 to 18:00, with Saturday availability for urgent field assignments in Ivory Coast Abidjan. Overtime beyond standard hours will be billed at 1.5x the daily rate.
- Intellectual Property: All content produced by the Journalist under this Quotation Estimate shall become the exclusive property of the client upon full payment. The Journalist retains the right to use anonymized excerpts for professional portfolio purposes, subject to client approval.
- Confidentiality: The Journalist and all supporting staff shall adhere to strict confidentiality protocols. No information pertaining to the client's operations, strategies, or internal communications in Ivory Coast Abidjan shall be disclosed to third parties without written consent.
- Revisions: Two (2) rounds of editorial revisions are included per deliverable. Additional revisions will be charged at 50,000 XOF per round per article or segment.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays or non-performance caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to civil unrest, natural disasters, or government-imposed restrictions in Ivory Coast Abidjan.
- Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting contract shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire. Disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, in accordance with the rules of the CIAC (Centre International pour l'Arbitrage de la Côte d'Ivoire).
- Taxes: All amounts stated in this Quotation Estimate are exclusive of applicable taxes. VAT (18%) and any withholding tax applicable in Ivory Coast shall be added to the final invoice as per current Ivorian tax regulations.
