This Quotation Estimate is issued by MediaBridge Japan K.K. to formally outline the professional services to be rendered by a contracted Journalist operating within the metropolitan area of Japan Osaka. The engagement covers a comprehensive editorial and field-reporting package designed to support the client's Q3 2025 product launch campaign across the Kansai region. The Journalist will be responsible for conducting in-depth interviews, producing long-form feature articles, capturing on-site photographic documentation, and delivering real-time digital reporting from key locations throughout Japan Osaka, including Umeda, Namba, Tennoji, and the Osaka Bay Area industrial corridor.

The Journalist engaged under this Quotation Estimate holds a minimum of ten (10) years of verified experience in business and technology journalism, with a demonstrated portfolio of published work in major Japanese and international outlets. The Journalist is a native speaker of Japanese and fluent in English, ensuring seamless communication with both local stakeholders in Japan Osaka and the client's international management team. All deliverables will be produced in both Japanese and English to maximize reach across the Japan Osaka media landscape.

Payment for the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be made via bank transfer to the account of MediaBridge Japan K.K. The payment schedule is structured as follows: a 40% advance payment (JPY 1,308,560) due within seven (7) business days of acceptance of this Quotation Estimate; a 35% interim payment (JPY 1,144,990) due upon completion of all field reporting and interview activities in Japan Osaka; and a 25% final payment (JPY 817,850) due within fourteen (14) business days of final delivery of all Journalist-produced materials. Late payments shall incur an interest charge of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.

This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates and availability of the Journalist are subject to reconfirmation.
The Journalist engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall adhere to the ethical standards set forth by the Japan Press Club Association and the Japan Journalists Association. All reporting conducted in Japan Osaka shall comply with the Japanese Personal Information Protection Act (APPI) and applicable local ordinances.
All intellectual property rights in the final deliverables (articles, photographs, video clips) shall transfer to the client upon full and final payment. The Journalist retains the right to display the work in a professional portfolio with prior written consent from the client.
Any changes to the scope of work, including additional interview subjects, extended field days in Japan Osaka, or supplementary editorial deliverables, shall be documented in a written change order signed by both parties and may result in an amended Quotation Estimate.
The Journalist shall provide a weekly progress report to the client's designated project manager every Friday during the engagement period. A final comprehensive report summarizing all activities, distribution metrics, and media coverage achieved in Japan Osaka shall be submitted within five (5) business days of project completion.
Force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters affecting the Japan Osaka region, government-mandated restrictions, or pandemics, shall suspend obligations under this Quotation Estimate without penalty to either party.
This Quotation Estimate is governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through arbitration in Osaka, Japan Osaka, in accordance with the rules of the Japan Commercial Arbitration Association.
