- Acceptance: This Quotation Estimate becomes a binding agreement upon written acceptance by the client and countersignature by both parties. The Journalist engagement in Turkey Ankara shall commence no earlier than five (5) business days following full acceptance.
- Payment Schedule: 40% advance payment upon contract signing; 35% upon completion of the mid-project milestone (Day 15); 25% upon final delivery and client sign-off. All payments are due within fourteen (14) calendar days of invoice issuance.
- Intellectual Property: All written, photographic, and multimedia content produced by the Journalist during the engagement period in Turkey Ankara shall become the exclusive property of the client upon full payment. The Journalist retains the right to use anonymized excerpts for portfolio purposes with prior written consent.
- Compliance: The Journalist shall adhere to all applicable Turkish press laws, including the Press Law No. 5680, the Turkish Penal Code provisions on defamation, and the regulations of the Turkish Press Council. MediaBridge Communications Ltd. assumes no liability for content that violates Turkish statutory law.
- Confidentiality: Both parties agree to maintain strict confidentiality regarding the terms of this Quotation Estimate, the client's internal communications, and any unpublished material generated during the engagement in Turkey Ankara.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be held liable for delays or non-performance resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-imposed curfews in Ankara, or civil unrest.
- Revisions: The client is entitled to two (2) rounds of editorial revisions per deliverable at no additional cost. Further revisions will be billed at $125 per hour.
- Termination: Either party may terminate the engagement with fourteen (14) days written notice. In such cases, the client shall pay for all services rendered up to the termination date, and the Journalist shall deliver all completed work product.
The Journalist assigned to this project in Turkey Ankara shall hold a minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience in news reporting, with demonstrated expertise in political, economic, and social journalism. The Journalist must be a registered member of the Turkish Journalists Association (Türkiye Gazeteciler Sendikası) and possess a valid press card issued by the relevant Turkish authority. Bilingual proficiency in Turkish and English is mandatory, with additional language skills (Arabic, Russian, or German) considered a strong advantage for the Turkey Ankara assignment.
