The Journalist services detailed below are designed to meet the specific editorial and communications requirements of the client, with all fieldwork, reporting, and content production to be conducted primarily within the boundaries of Greater London, United Kingdom, with the possibility of limited travel to adjacent regions as specified in the scope of work.
The following services will be provided by a senior Journalist (minimum 10 years' experience in UK metropolitan media) operating within the United Kingdom London region:
- Investigative Reporting: Conducting in-depth investigative journalism covering local government, public services, and corporate accountability across the 33 London boroughs. This includes source interviews, document analysis, and on-the-ground reporting at relevant locations throughout London, United Kingdom.
- Feature Writing & Long-Form Content: Production of no fewer than four (4) long-form feature articles (minimum 2,500 words each) per month, covering cultural, social, and economic themes specific to the London, United Kingdom landscape.
- News Desk Support: Daily monitoring and rapid-turnaround reporting on breaking news events occurring within the United Kingdom London area, with a guaranteed response time of no more than four (4) hours from initial event identification.
- Interviews & Press Conferences: Attendance at a minimum of six (6) press events, interviews, or public consultations per month held in London, United Kingdom, including travel, note-taking, and same-day summary delivery.

All deliverables under this Quotation Estimate will be produced by the assigned Journalist and delivered to the client's designated editorial inbox no later than 17:00 GMT on the agreed delivery date. The engagement period for this estimate covers a single calendar month commencing on the date of client acceptance. All reporting will be conducted in accordance with the Press Complaints Commission (PCC) standards and the Editors' Code of Practice applicable in the United Kingdom. The Journalist will maintain full editorial independence while adhering to the client's agreed style guide and brand voice parameters specific to their London, United Kingdom audience.
Payment for the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate is due within thirty (30) calendar days of the invoice date. Invoices will be issued at the commencement of the engagement period and upon completion of all deliverables. Payment shall be made by BACS bank transfer to the account details provided on the invoice. Late payments will incur interest at a rate of 4% above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, applicable in the United Kingdom London jurisdiction.
Important Note: This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. Should the client require the Journalist services beyond the initial one-month period, a revised Quotation Estimate will be issued reflecting any changes in scope, rates, or London, United Kingdom operational conditions. - All disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent engagement shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of London, United Kingdom.
- Meridian Press & Editorial Ltd. holds professional indemnity insurance with a minimum cover of £5,000,000, valid throughout the United Kingdom.
