The Judge engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall hold a minimum of fifteen (15) years of active or retired judicial experience in the Superior Court of British Columbia or an equivalent tribunal. The Judge shall be in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia and shall comply with all ethical guidelines set forth by the Canadian Judicial Council. All proceedings conducted under this engagement shall take place at the Harbourview Dispute Resolution Centre premises in Vancouver, Canada, or at such other location within the Greater Vancouver Regional District as mutually agreed upon in writing.

• Validity: This Quotation Estimate shall remain valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Upon expiry, all rates and availability of the designated Judge must be reconfirmed in writing.
• Payment Schedule: Invoices shall be issued on a monthly basis, payable within thirty (30) days of the invoice date. A 1.5% monthly late-payment interest shall apply to outstanding balances in accordance with the British Columbia Interest Act.
• Confidentiality: The Judge and all supporting staff shall be bound by a strict confidentiality agreement in compliance with the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) of British Columbia and the Privacy Act of Canada. All case files and proceedings shall be treated as privileged and confidential.
• Substitution: In the event the primary Judge is unavailable due to illness, conflict of interest, or other legitimate cause, Judge Services Inc. shall provide a substitute Judge of equivalent seniority and experience, subject to the client's written approval within five (5) business days.
• Termination: Either party may terminate this engagement with thirty (30) days' written notice. Fees for services rendered up to the effective date of termination shall remain payable in full.
• Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
• Dispute Resolution: Any dispute arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through mediation in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, before proceeding to binding arbitration under the Arbitration Act (British Columbia).
• Insurance: Judge Services Inc. maintains professional liability insurance in the amount of no less than $5,000,000 CAD, with coverage valid throughout the Province of British Columbia and the nation of Canada.
