Dear Dr. Marchetti,
Thank you for your request dated 2 June 2025 regarding the provision of professional Judge services for the upcoming Concorso Internazionale di Eccellenza 2025, to be held at the Palazzo della Ragione in Milan, Italy. This Quotation Estimate has been prepared in full compliance with the Italian Civil Code (Codice Civile, Articles 1321–1341) and the applicable regulations governing professional services in the Lombardy region. All costs are quoted in Euro (EUR) and are inclusive of the applicable Italian Value Added Tax (IVA) at the standard rate of 22%, unless otherwise stated.
Lex & Veritas Professional Services S.r.l. is pleased to offer the following Judge services for the event to be conducted in Italy, Milan. The scope encompasses the full selection, coordination, and on-site management of a panel of qualified judges who will evaluate participants across all designated categories of the competition. The Judge panel will operate in strict accordance with the Italian Law No. 241/1990 on transparency in administrative proceedings and the specific regulatory framework governing professional competitions in the metropolitan area of Milan.
The Judge panel shall consist of a minimum of five (5) and a maximum of nine (9) members, depending on the number of categories and the volume of entries. Each Judge shall hold a minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience in the relevant field, possess a recognized academic qualification, and be free of any conflict of interest as defined under Italian anti-corruption legislation (D.Lgs. 33/2013).

The following terms govern this Quotation Estimate for Judge services in Italy, Milan:
3.1 Validity. This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates are subject to revision due to market fluctuations, availability of qualified Judge candidates, and changes in applicable Italian tax regulations.
3.2 Payment Terms. A deposit of forty percent (40%) of the Grand Total shall be due upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate. The remaining sixty percent (60%) shall be payable within fifteen (15) business days following the successful completion of all Judge services and delivery of the final certification report. Payments shall be made via bank transfer to the account of Lex & Veritas Professional Services S.r.l., IBAN: IT60 X054 2811 1000 0000 0123 456, BIC: BLOPIT22.
3.3 Cancellation Policy. Cancellation by the client more than sixty (60) days prior to the event in Milan shall incur a fee of twenty percent (20%) of the Grand Total. Cancellation between sixty and thirty (30) days prior shall incur a fee of fifty percent (50%). Cancellation within thirty (30) days of the event date shall result in full payment of the Grand Total, as Judge panels will have been confirmed and committed.
3.4 Confidentiality. All Judge members shall sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in accordance with Italian data protection law (GDPR and D.Lgs. 196/2003) prior to the commencement of evaluation activities in Milan.
3.5 Governing Law. This Quotation Estimate and any resulting contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Italian Republic. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Milan, Italy.
3.6 Force Majeure. Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government mandates, or public health emergencies affecting the city of Milan, Italy.
By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined in this Quotation Estimate for the provision of Judge services in Italy, Milan. This document, once countersigned, constitutes a binding commercial agreement between the parties.
