1. Scope of Services — Judge Engagement in Italy Rome
This Quotation Estimate is issued by Studio Legale & Consulenza Giudiziale S.r.l. to formally propose the engagement of a qualified, independent Judge (evaluator and adjudicator) for the Annual International Culinary & Artistic Competition to be held in Rome, Italy. The Judge will be responsible for the impartial assessment, scoring, and final adjudication of all participating entries across the culinary, visual arts, and performance categories. The services described herein are tailored specifically to the legal and regulatory framework governing competitive events in Italy, with particular attention to the municipal regulations of the City of Rome and the national standards set forth by the Italian Ministry of Culture and the Italian Chamber of Commerce for the region of Lazio.
The Judge engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall possess a minimum of fifteen (15) years of documented experience in competitive adjudication within the fields of gastronomy, fine arts, and performing arts. The Judge must hold recognized credentials from at least one of the following bodies: the Italian Academy of Culinary Arts (Accademia Italiana di Arte Culinaria), the Royal Society of Arts (RSA), or an equivalent internationally accredited institution. 3. Terms and Conditions
- 3.1 Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from the date of issue. Upon expiry, all rates and availability must be reconfirmed in writing by our office in Rome, Italy.
- 3.2 Payment Terms: A deposit of fifty percent (50%) of the Grand Total, amounting to EUR 7,899.50, is due within ten (10) business days of acceptance of this Quotation Estimate. The remaining fifty percent (50%) shall be invoiced and payable within fifteen (15) business days following the conclusion of the event and delivery of the final written report.
- 3.3 Cancellation Policy: Cancellation by the client more than thirty (30) days prior to the event date will incur a fee of twenty-five percent (25%) of the Grand Total. Cancellation between thirty (30) and fourteen (14) days prior will incur a fee of fifty percent (50%). Cancellation within fourteen (14) days of the event date will result in the full Grand Total being due and payable.
- 3.4 Impartiality & Conflict of Interest: The Judge warrants that, at the time of engagement, there exists no financial, familial, or professional relationship with any participating entrant. The Judge shall complete and sign a formal Declaration of Impartiality in accordance with Italian law before the commencement of judging activities in Rome.
- 3.5 Confidentiality: All scoring sheets, deliberation notes, and preliminary rankings are strictly confidential and shall not be disclosed to any third party without the written consent of the organizing committee, in compliance with the Italian General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the national data protection authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali).
- 3.6 Governing Law & Jurisdiction: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Italian Republic. Any disputes arising herefrom shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Rome, Italy.
- 3.7 Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-mandated closures, or public health emergencies affecting the city of Rome, Italy.
- 3.8 Intellectual Property: The final adjudication report and all written evaluations produced by the Judge shall become the property of the organizing committee upon full payment. The Judge retains the right to reference the engagement in professional portfolios and CVs, subject to the client's prior written approval.
4. Acceptance
By signing below, the client acknowledges that this Quotation Estimate has been reviewed in its entirety and agrees to the scope of services, pricing, and terms and conditions set forth herein. This document, once countersigned by both parties, constitutes a binding agreement for the provision of Judge services in Rome, Italy, for the event described above.
