The Laboratory Technician engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall perform the following duties within the Ghana Accra operational site:
- Conduct routine and specialized laboratory analyses including microbiological, chemical, and physical testing of samples in compliance with Ghana Standards Authority (GSA) protocols.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and equipment on a daily basis.
- Prepare and document all laboratory reports, quality control records, and chain-of-custody documentation in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
- Ensure full compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) of Ghana and the Ministry of Health regulatory requirements for waste disposal and biosafety.
- Supervise and mentor junior laboratory assistants and interns as directed by the Lead Laboratory Manager.
- Participate in inter-laboratory proficiency testing programs coordinated from the Ghana Accra regional hub.
- Maintain an organized inventory of reagents, consumables, and reference materials, placing purchase orders as needed.

- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all pricing is subject to revision based on prevailing exchange rates and the Ghana Consumer Price Index.
- Payment terms: 50% advance upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate and execution of the service agreement; 50% balance payable in two equal quarterly installments.
- All payments shall be made in Ghana Cedis (GHS) via bank transfer to the designated account of the service provider, or in US Dollars (USD) at the Bank of Ghana interbank rate on the date of invoicing.
- The Laboratory Technician shall be subject to a pre-employment medical examination and a criminal background check conducted through the Ghana Police Service, as is standard practice for laboratory personnel in Ghana Accra.
- The client reserves the right to terminate the engagement with thirty (30) days written notice. In such an event, a pro-rated refund of unutilized funds shall be issued within fourteen (14) business days.
- All laboratory data and patient/client records handled by the Laboratory Technician shall remain the exclusive property of the client and are subject to the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) of Ghana.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until both parties have executed the formal Service Level Agreement (SLA) and the Laboratory Technician employment contract.
