1. Purpose of This Quotation Estimate
This Quotation Estimate is formally issued by MedTech Nepal Pvt. Ltd., a registered professional staffing and technical services firm headquartered in Nepal Kathmandu, to provide a comprehensive and itemized cost breakdown for the recruitment, onboarding, and annual employment of a qualified Laboratory Technician at the Kathmandu General Diagnostic Centre. This document serves as the official financial proposal and binding estimate for the client's review and approval. All figures presented herein are calculated in Nepalese Rupees (NPR) and reflect current market rates applicable to the Nepal Kathmandu metropolitan area as of the date of issue.
2. Scope of Work & Position Description
The Laboratory Technician engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall perform the following duties and responsibilities at the Nepal Kathmandu facility:
- Conduct routine clinical laboratory tests including hematology, biochemistry, urinalysis, and microbiology cultures in strict compliance with Nepal's Department of Health Services (DoHS) regulations.
- Operate, calibrate, and perform preventive maintenance on all laboratory instrumentation and diagnostic equipment located at the Nepal Kathmandu site.
- Maintain accurate patient sample logs, quality control records, and chain-of-custody documentation in accordance with ISO 15189 standards.
- Prepare reagents, media, and calibration solutions; ensure proper storage, labeling, and disposal of hazardous laboratory materials per Nepal's environmental and occupational safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with senior pathologists and medical officers to interpret preliminary findings and escalate abnormal results for clinical review.
- Participate in internal and external quality assurance programs, including proficiency testing coordinated by the Nepal Quality Assurance Council.
- Work a standard 48-hour week (Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) with rotational on-call shifts as required by the Nepal Kathmandu facility schedule.
3. Candidate Qualification Requirements
The Laboratory Technician proposed under this Quotation Estimate must hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) or an equivalent diploma recognized by the Nepal Health Research Council (NHRC). A valid registration with the Nepal Medical Laboratory Technicians Association is mandatory. 5. Payment Terms & Schedule
- Advance Payment: 30% of the total Quotation Estimate amount (NPR 352,763) due within seven (7) business days of written acceptance of this document.
- Mid-Term Payment: 40% (NPR 470,351) due upon successful completion of the Laboratory Technician's 90-day probationary period and satisfactory performance evaluation.
- Final Payment: 30% (NPR 352,764) due at the conclusion of the 12-month contract term, subject to final performance review and clearance of all statutory obligations.
- All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the designated account of MedTech Nepal Pvt. Ltd., Nepal Kathmandu branch. Cheques payable to "MedTech Nepal Pvt. Ltd."
6. Terms & Conditions
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates are subject to revision based on prevailing Nepal Kathmandu labor market conditions.
- Acceptance of this Quotation Estimate constitutes a binding agreement between MedTech Nepal Pvt. Ltd. and the client for the recruitment and employment of the Laboratory Technician as described herein.
- The Laboratory Technician shall be subject to a 90-day probationary period. During this period, either party may terminate the engagement with fourteen (14) days' written notice without penalty.
- All employment terms shall comply with the Nepal Labor Act, 2074 (2017), the Social Security Fund Act, and applicable regulations of the Nepal Kathmandu municipal authority.
- MedTech Nepal Pvt. Ltd. shall not be liable for any damages or losses arising from the client's failure to provide a safe and compliant laboratory working environment at the Nepal Kathmandu facility.
- Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through amicable negotiation, failing which they shall be referred to the competent labor court in Kathmandu, Nepal.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a guarantee of placement. The final selection of the Laboratory Technician is subject to mutual agreement and successful completion of all screening and verification procedures.
7. Acceptance & Authorization
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate for the Laboratory Technician position in Nepal Kathmandu and agrees to the terms, conditions, and financial obligations outlined in this document.
