The Laboratory Technician engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall perform the following duties and responsibilities within the Pakistan Karachi facility:

• Collection, preparation, and processing of clinical specimens including blood, urine, tissue, and microbiological samples in strict compliance with WHO and Pakistan National Laboratory Standards.
• Operation and maintenance of automated analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, hematology analyzers, and biochemistry equipment.
• Conducting routine hematology, biochemistry, serology, and urinalysis tests under the supervision of a senior pathologist.
• Maintaining accurate digital and physical laboratory records, ensuring full traceability of all test results in accordance with NABH accreditation requirements.
• Performing quality control checks daily and generating monthly quality assurance reports for submission to the Chief Medical Officer.
• Managing inventory of reagents, consumables, and reference materials, including timely procurement coordination with approved suppliers in Karachi.
• Ensuring adherence to biosafety protocols, waste disposal regulations, and occupational health standards as mandated by the Sindh Environmental Protection Agency.
• Providing technical support to junior laboratory assistants and trainees during on-the-job orientation programs.

* All amounts are quoted in Pakistani Rupees (PKR). A Sales Tax of 18% as applicable under the Sindh Sales Tax Act has been factored into the above figures. No additional charges shall be levied beyond the total stated in this Quotation Estimate unless a written amendment is mutually agreed upon.

The Laboratory Technician proposed under this engagement shall hold a minimum of a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Medical Laboratory Technology or an equivalent degree recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. A minimum of three (3) years of post-qualification experience in a clinical or diagnostic laboratory setting within Pakistan Karachi or a comparable metropolitan healthcare environment is mandatory. Valid registration with the Pakistan Medical Laboratory Technicians Association (PMLTA) and a current CPR/First Aid certification are also required prior to commencement of duties.

• This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, pricing may be subject to revision based on prevailing wage adjustments in the Karachi labor market.
• Payment shall be made on a monthly basis via bank transfer to the designated account of the staffing agency, with an invoice issued on or before the 5th of each month.
• The client reserves the right to request a replacement of the Laboratory Technician within the first sixty (60) days of engagement at no additional cost, subject to a written performance review.
• Confidentiality and data protection obligations shall be governed by the Pakistan Personal Data Protection Bill and NABH confidentiality standards. All patient information handled by the Laboratory Technician is strictly non-disclosable.
• Any force majeure event, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-imposed lockdowns, or public health emergencies affecting operations in Pakistan Karachi, shall be addressed through mutual written consultation without penalty to either party.
• Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through arbitration in Karachi under the Arbitration Act, 1940 of Pakistan.
