This Quotation Estimate is issued by MediStaff Professional Solutions (Pty) Ltd in response to the formal request from Atlantic Coast Diagnostics Laboratory for the recruitment, placement, and ongoing management of a qualified Laboratory Technician to operate within the metropolitan area of South Africa Cape Town. The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for performing routine and specialised diagnostic tests, maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring compliance with South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA) standards, and supporting senior laboratory scientists in all daily operational activities.
The Laboratory Technician candidate will hold a minimum qualification of a National Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (NQF Level 6) or a BSc in Clinical Laboratory Science, registered with the South African Health Professions Council (SAHPC). The candidate must possess a minimum of three (3) years of post-qualification experience in a clinical or research laboratory environment, with demonstrated proficiency in haematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and urinalysis. Given the operational context in South Africa Cape Town, the Laboratory Technician must also be familiar with the Western Cape Department of Health's reporting protocols and the National Health Laboratory Service (NHLS) quality assurance frameworks.

- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Should the client wish to proceed after the validity period, a revised Quotation Estimate may be required to reflect any changes in market rates for Laboratory Technician services in South Africa Cape Town.
- Payment terms: 50% deposit upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate; the remaining 50% to be settled in equal monthly instalments over the twelve-month placement period. All payments are due within fourteen (14) days of invoice date.
- The Laboratory Technician shall be employed on a full-time basis (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday) at the client's designated laboratory facility in Cape Town, South Africa. Overtime, if required, shall be billed at 1.5 times the standard hourly rate.
- MediStaff Professional Solutions (Pty) Ltd shall bear full responsibility for all statutory employer obligations, including but not limited to PAYE, UIF, SDL, and annual leave administration for the Laboratory Technician.
- The client reserves the right to terminate the placement of the Laboratory Technician with thirty (30) days' written notice. In such an event, no further monthly fees shall be applicable beyond the notice period.
- All personal information processed in connection with this Quotation Estimate and the subsequent placement of the Laboratory Technician shall be handled in strict compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), 2013, as applicable in South Africa Cape Town and nationwide.
- Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the High Court of South Africa, Cape Town Division.
