This Quotation Estimate is structured with the following payment milestones:
- Milestone 1 (Upon Acceptance): 40% of the recruitment and placement fees ($3,620.00) due within five (5) business days of signed acceptance of this Quotation Estimate.
- Milestone 2 (Upon Candidate Placement): 60% of the remaining recruitment and placement fees ($4,880.00) due upon the Laboratory Technician's first day of active employment at the Los Angeles facility.
- Milestone 3 (Monthly): Salary, payroll taxes, and ongoing operational costs to be invoiced monthly in arrears, payable within thirty (30) days of invoice date.
- Milestone 4 (Post-Placement): Post-placement support fee of $2,500.00 due upon successful completion of the 90-day probationary period.
5.1. This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issuance. After the expiration date, all pricing is subject to revision based on current United States Los Angeles labor market conditions.
5.2. The Laboratory Technician shall be engaged under a standard at-will employment agreement in compliance with California Labor Code Section 2922. No specific term of employment is guaranteed beyond the initial 90-day probationary period.
5.3. All services rendered under this Quotation Estimate shall be performed in strict accordance with the laws of the State of California, the City of Los Angeles, and applicable United States federal regulations, including but not limited to the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) of 1988.
5.4. SciLab Professional Staffing Solutions, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the placement of the Laboratory Technician. The replacement guarantee is limited to one (1) replacement within the 90-day post-placement period.
5.5. The client agrees to provide a safe and compliant laboratory environment in United States Los Angeles that meets all OSHA and California Division of Occupational Safety and Health (Cal/OSHA) standards for the Laboratory Technician's assigned duties.
5.6. Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Los Angeles County, California, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
5.7. This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until countersigned by both parties. Upon execution, it shall serve as the governing document for the engagement described herein.
