The Laboratory Technician engaged under this Quotation Estimate will be responsible for the following duties at the designated facility in Zimbabwe Harare:

• Performing routine haematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and serological analyses on patient samples in accordance with standard operating procedures approved by the Zimbabwe National Standards Authority (ZANAS).
• Operating, calibrating, and performing basic maintenance on laboratory instrumentation including automated analysers, centrifuges, microscopes, and spectrophotometers.
• Ensuring compliance with biosafety protocols as mandated by the Zimbabwe National Biosafety Authority for all specimens handled within the laboratory environment.
• Maintaining accurate patient records, quality assurance logs, and equipment maintenance documentation in line with the Health Professions Act (Chapter 16:01) of Zimbabwe.
• Collaborating with senior laboratory scientists and clinical staff at the Harare Central Provincial Hospital to interpret preliminary results and flag critical values for immediate physician review.
• Participating in external quality assurance programmes coordinated by the Zimbabwe National Quality Assurance Programme for Laboratories (ZNQAPL).
• Assisting in the training of junior laboratory assistants and intern students from the University of Zimbabwe College of Health Sciences.

• This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After 12 July 2025, pricing may be subject to revision due to exchange rate fluctuations between the US Dollar and the Zimbabwe Dollar (ZWL) or changes in statutory contribution rates.
• Payment terms: 50% advance payment upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, with the remaining 50% payable in two equal quarterly instalments. All payments shall be made in US Dollars to the MedTech Solutions (Pvt) Ltd account at Stanbic Bank Zimbabwe, Harare branch.
• The Laboratory Technician shall be required to hold a valid ZANAS registration certificate and a minimum of a National Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science (or equivalent) from an institution recognised by the Council on Higher Education of Zimbabwe.
• All services rendered under this Quotation Estimate shall be performed in strict compliance with the laws of the Republic of Zimbabwe, including the Labour Act (Chapter 28:01), the Health Professions Act, and applicable biosafety regulations specific to Zimbabwe Harare municipal health directives.
• MedTech Solutions (Pvt) Ltd reserves the right to substitute the Laboratory Technician with a suitably qualified replacement of equivalent or higher grade, subject to prior written notification to the client, in the event of prolonged illness, resignation, or disciplinary action.
• This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until a formal service agreement is executed by both parties. Acceptance of this Quotation Estimate by the client does not automatically create an employment relationship between the client and the Laboratory Technician; the technician remains an employee of MedTech Solutions (Pvt) Ltd.
• Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent service agreement shall be resolved through arbitration in Zimbabwe Harare in accordance with the Arbitration Act (Chapter 7:15) of Zimbabwe.
