Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the Client shall pay the fees set out in this Quotation Estimate as follows: a retainer of 25% of the total estimated cost (inclusive of GST) is due upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate; the balance shall be invoiced in monthly instalments or upon completion of each phase of the legal work, whichever is earlier. Payment is to be made by direct bank transfer to the firm's nominated account in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Invoices are payable within fourteen (14) calendar days of the date of issue. Late payments may attract interest at the rate prescribed under the Interest on Debts Act 1983 (Qld).
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Upon expiry, the Lawyer reserves the right to revise the fees and costs set out herein.
- Acceptance of this Quotation Estimate by the Client constitutes agreement to the full terms of the retainer and engagement letter to be executed by both parties.
- The Lawyer shall maintain professional indemnity insurance in accordance with the requirements of the Legal Services Commission of Queensland, Australia, for the duration of the engagement.
- All work product, files, and documentation prepared by the Lawyer in connection with this matter shall remain the property of the Client upon full payment of all fees and costs.
