This Quotation Estimate is issued by the undersigned Lawyer, registered with the Bar of Brussels, in accordance with the professional rules governing legal practice in Belgium Brussels. 2. Description of Legal ServicesThe Lawyer shall provide the following legal services to the Client in connection with the matter referenced as Case File No. 2025-BRU-0891:
- Initial legal consultation and comprehensive case assessment (up to 2 hours).
- Preparation and filing of a formal legal complaint before the Court of First Instance of Brussels (Tribunal de Première Instance de Bruxelles / Rechtbank van Eerste Aanleg Brussel).
- Drafting of all necessary legal pleadings, memoranda, and written submissions in French and/or Dutch as required by the competent court in Belgium Brussels.
- Representation of the Client at a maximum of four (4) court hearings before the civil or commercial division of the Brussels courts.

- Preparation of a final legal opinion and written summary of the proceedings upon conclusion of the matter.

Note: In accordance with Belgian tax law, certain legal services rendered by a Lawyer in the context of judicial proceedings may be exempt from VAT. The Client will be informed of the applicable VAT treatment upon issuance of the final invoice. All amounts are expressed in Euros (EUR) and are exclusive of any additional court-imposed costs or penalties that may arise during the proceedings.
4. Payment TermsThe Client agrees to the following payment schedule as part of this Quotation Estimate:
- Retainer / Advance Payment: A non-refundable retainer of 30% of the total estimated amount (i.e., €4,737.15 incl. VAT) shall be due within ten (10) business days of the Client's written acceptance of this Quotation Estimate. This retainer secures the Lawyer's availability and covers initial case preparation work.
- Interim Invoicing: The Lawyer shall issue interim invoices on a monthly basis for hours worked and disbursements incurred, payable within thirty (30) days of the invoice date.
- Final Settlement: The balance of the fees, adjusted for actual hours worked and costs incurred, shall be invoiced within fifteen (15) days of the conclusion of the matter or the final court decision, whichever occurs first.

- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Upon expiry, the Lawyer reserves the right to revise the estimated fees to reflect current market rates and any changes in applicable court fees in Belgium Brussels.
- The estimates provided herein are good-faith projections and do not constitute a fixed-fee guarantee. The final amount may vary by up to 15% above or below the estimated total, depending on the actual scope of work required. Any variation exceeding 15% shall require the prior written consent of the Client.
- The Lawyer is bound by the professional secrecy and confidentiality obligations set forth in the Belgian Code of Economic Law (Book IV, Title I) and the professional rules of the Bar of Brussels. All documents, communications, and information exchanged in connection with this engagement shall be treated as strictly confidential.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a retainer agreement or a binding engagement contract. A separate written engagement letter (mandat) shall be executed by both parties prior to the commencement of any legal work, in accordance with the requirements of the Belgian Bar Council.
- In the event of a conflict of interest arising during the engagement, the Lawyer shall immediately inform the Client and, if necessary, withdraw from the matter in compliance with the professional rules applicable in Belgium Brussels.
- The Client acknowledges that the Lawyer is not liable for the outcome of any judicial or administrative proceedings. The fees quoted cover the professional legal services rendered and do not guarantee any specific result before the courts or authorities of Belgium Brussels.
- Any dispute arising from or in connection with this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent engagement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Brussels, Belgium, in accordance with Belgian law.
