This Quotation Estimate is issued by the undersigned Lawyer, a licensed attorney practicing before the courts of Egypt Cairo and the surrounding Greater Cairo judicial district, in accordance with the Egyptian Advocacy Law No. 17 of 1968 (as amended) and the applicable rules of the Egyptian Bar Association. The following legal services are proposed for the benefit of the Client in connection with a commercial contract dispute and related civil litigation matters:
- Legal Consultation & Case Assessment: Comprehensive review of all contractual documents, correspondence, and evidence related to the dispute with the counterparty. Includes a written legal opinion on the merits of the case under Egyptian Civil Code (Law No. 131 of 1948) and the Egyptian Commercial Code (Law No. 17 of 1999).
- Drafting and Filing of Legal Pleadings: Preparation and submission of the statement of claim, written defenses, and all subsequent memoranda before the Cairo Commercial Court (First Instance) located in the judicial complex on El-Gomhoreya Street, Cairo.
- Court Representation: Full representation of the Client at all hearings, sessions, and proceedings before the Cairo Commercial Court, the Cairo Court of Appeal, and, if necessary, the Court of Cassation in Cairo, Egypt.
- Negotiation & Settlement: Conducting settlement negotiations with opposing counsel, including attendance at mediation sessions before the Egyptian Center for Mediation and Arbitration (ECMA) in Cairo.
- Enforcement Proceedings: Filing and managing any enforcement petition before the Enforcement Court in Cairo should a favorable judgment be rendered.
- Document Authentication & Notarization: Arranging notarization of powers of attorney, legal translations (Arabic-English), and authentication of documents before the Cairo Notary Public offices.
The following Quotation Estimate outlines the professional fees and associated costs for the Lawyer's services in Egypt Cairo. All fees are exclusive of applicable Value Added Tax (VAT) at the current rate of 14% as per Egyptian Tax Law No. 67 of 2016.

Payment of the fees set forth in this Quotation Estimate shall be made as follows:
- Advance Payment (40%): EGP 118,560 (including VAT) due upon execution of the retainer agreement, prior to the commencement of any legal work.
- Interim Payment (30%): EGP 88,920 (including VAT) due upon filing of the statement of claim before the Cairo Commercial Court.
- Final Payment (30%): EGP 88,920 (including VAT) due upon conclusion of the matter or upon the issuance of a final, enforceable judgment.
All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the firm's designated account at National Bank of Egypt, Cairo Main Branch, or by certified check payable to Al-Nile Legal Counsel & Associates. The Lawyer shall issue an official tax invoice (Fatura) for each payment received in compliance with Egyptian tax regulations.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Upon expiration, fees may be subject to revision based on prevailing market rates in Egypt Cairo.
- The Lawyer reserves the right to withdraw from representation upon thirty (30) days' written notice, subject to the Client's obligation to pay for all services rendered up to the date of withdrawal.
- All communications between the Lawyer and the Client shall be governed by the attorney-client privilege as recognized under Egyptian law. Confidentiality obligations survive the termination of the engagement.
- This engagement is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the retainer agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cairo, Egypt.
- The Lawyer shall not be liable for any adverse court decision, as legal outcomes are inherently uncertain. Fees are non-refundable once services have been commenced.
- Any additional services not expressly included in this Quotation Estimate (e.g., representation before the Court of Cassation, international arbitration, or criminal defense) shall be quoted separately in writing.
- The Client agrees to provide all necessary documents, information, and access to relevant parties in a timely manner to enable the Lawyer to perform the agreed-upon services efficiently.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding retainer agreement. A separate written retainer agreement, signed by both parties, must be executed before the Lawyer commences any legal work.
By signing below, the Client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, conditions, and fee structure outlined herein for the legal services to be provided by the Lawyer in Egypt Cairo. This acceptance does not constitute a binding engagement until a formal retainer agreement is executed.
