The fees quoted herein are estimates based on the current scope of work. Should the matter require additional proceedings, appeals before the Cour d'Appel de Lyon, or unforeseen complexity, a supplementary Quotation Estimate will be issued prior to any additional work being undertaken.
Payment terms: A retainer of 30% of the total estimated professional fees (excluding disbursements) is due upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate. The remaining balance shall be invoiced in monthly installments as work progresses, with final settlement within thirty (30) days of the conclusion of the matter.
All disbursements (court fees, huissier fees, expert fees, travel expenses within the Lyon metropolitan area) will be invoiced at actual cost with supporting receipts provided to the client.
The Lawyer shall maintain professional confidentiality in accordance with the French legal professional privilege (secret professionnel) as defined by Article 66-5 of the Loi du 31 décembre 1971.
This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a guarantee of outcome. The Lawyer shall exercise all due diligence and professional competence in representing the client's interests before the courts of France Lyon.
Any dispute regarding the fees or services described in this Quotation Estimate shall be submitted to the competent jurisdiction of the Tribunal Judiciaire de Lyon, France Lyon.
