This Quotation Estimate is issued by Asahi & Partners Legal Counsel, a licensed law firm registered with the Tokyo Bar Association, to provide the Client with a comprehensive and transparent breakdown of all anticipated legal fees, costs, and expenses associated with the engagement of our Lawyer for the matter referenced above. The scope of legal services covered by this Quotation Estimate includes, but is not limited to: initial case assessment and legal consultation; drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contractual documents; preparation of all necessary filings for the Chiyoda District Court; representation of the Client in all court hearings, mediation sessions, and settlement negotiations; and ongoing legal advisory services throughout the duration of the matter. All services shall be performed by qualified attorneys and legal professionals physically based in Tokyo, Japan, and shall comply with all applicable Japanese legal regulations and professional ethical standards.
The following Quotation Estimate outlines the anticipated fees for the Lawyer's professional services. All amounts are denominated in Japanese Yen (JPY) and are subject to the applicable consumption tax (消費税) of 10% as mandated by the National Tax Agency of Japan.

- An initial retainer fee of 30% (¥643,500 tax-inclusive) shall be payable upon execution of the engagement agreement and acceptance of this Quotation Estimate.
- The remaining balance shall be payable in two equal installments: 50% upon filing of the complaint with the Chiyoda District Court, and 50% upon conclusion of the matter (judgment, settlement, or dismissal).
- All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the firm's designated account at Mitsubishi UFJ Bank, Tokyo Marunouchi Branch. No cash payments will be accepted in accordance with the firm's internal compliance policy.
- Out-of-pocket expenses (travel within Tokyo, courier fees, photocopying) exceeding ¥50,000 in aggregate shall be billed separately with itemized receipts.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Upon expiration, the Client must request a revised estimate to confirm current rates and availability.
- The Lawyer and the firm reserve the right to withdraw from the engagement with thirty (30) days' written notice, in which case fees for services rendered up to the date of withdrawal shall be due.
- All communications, documents, and work product related to this matter shall be governed by attorney-client privilege under Japanese law (弁護士法第23条).
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a guarantee of any particular legal outcome. The Lawyer shall exercise professional judgment in the best interest of the Client in accordance with the Tokyo Bar Association's Code of Ethics.
- Any disputes arising from the interpretation or performance of this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through mediation in Tokyo, Japan, in accordance with the provisions of the Japanese Civil Code.
- The Client acknowledges that this estimate is prepared specifically for use in Tokyo, Japan, and all referenced courts, regulatory bodies, and legal procedures pertain to the Japanese legal system.
By signing below, the Client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate, confirms understanding of the fee structure and terms outlined herein, and authorizes the Lawyer and Asahi & Partners Legal Counsel to proceed with the engagement as described. This document, once signed by both parties, shall form an integral part of the formal engagement agreement.
