The Lawyer assigned to this matter, Ms. Aroha K. Te Rangi, will provide the following services in accordance with the Legal Services Act 2007 and the rules of the New Zealand Law Society, as applicable in New Zealand Wellington:

• Initial consultation and comprehensive review of the commercial lease agreement, correspondence, and all supporting documentation relating to the tenancy at 8/145 Cuba Street, Wellington.
• Preparation and service of a formal letter of demand upon the lessor, outlining breaches of the lease terms and requesting remediation within fourteen (14) days.
• Representation of the client in mediation proceedings before the New Zealand Dispute Resolution Service, to be held at the Wellington District Court, 111 Featherston Street, Wellington.
• Drafting and filing of a Statement of Claim in the District Court of New Zealand, Wellington, should mediation prove unsuccessful.
• Preparation of all necessary affidavits, schedules of loss, and supporting evidence for the court hearing.
• Full representation at the District Court hearing, including cross-examination of witnesses and oral submissions to the presiding Judge.
• Post-judgment enforcement advice and, if required, preparation of a Writ of Execution for the recovery of monies owed.
• General legal advice and correspondence throughout the duration of the matter, limited to a maximum of twelve (12) hours of professional time.

The following Quotation Estimate reflects the standard hourly rates of our Lawyer and associated professional staff in New Zealand Wellington, as approved by the New Zealand Law Society for the 2025 financial year. All amounts are stated in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are exclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the current rate of fifteen percent (15%).

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the client shall pay the estimated fees as follows: a retainer of twenty-five percent (25%) of the total Quotation Estimate, being NZ$5,382.00, is due upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate. The remaining balance shall be invoiced in monthly instalments as work progresses. All invoices are payable within fourteen (14) calendar days of the date of issue. Late payments may attract interest at the rate prescribed under the Consumer Credit Act 2003, as applicable in New Zealand. Payments may be made by bank transfer to the firm's account at ANZ Bank, Wellington, or by EFTPOS at our offices on Lambton Quay.

1. This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. After this period, the Lawyer reserves the right to revise the rates and disbursements to reflect current market conditions in New Zealand Wellington.
2. The Lawyer will provide the client with a written progress report at least once per month, detailing hours worked, costs incurred, and the current status of the matter.
3. The client agrees to provide all relevant documents, information, and access to the property at 8/145 Cuba Street, Wellington, in a timely manner to avoid delays and additional costs.
4. This Quotation Estimate does not guarantee any particular outcome. The Lawyer will exercise all reasonable professional skill and diligence in the conduct of the matter, consistent with the standards of the New Zealand Law Society.
5. The firm maintains professional indemnity insurance with a limit of not less than NZ$5,000,000, as required by the New Zealand Law Society for all practising Lawyers in New Zealand.
6. Any dispute arising from this Quotation Estimate or the services rendered shall be resolved in accordance with the New Zealand Law Society's complaints and dispute resolution procedures, or in the District Court of New Zealand, Wellington.
7. All communications between the Lawyer and the client are subject to legal professional privilege under the Evidence Act 2006 of New Zealand.
