This Quotation Estimate is issued by Meier & Keller Rechtsanwälte AG, a licensed law firm practising in Zurich, Switzerland, in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on the Free Movement of Lawyers (LALex) and the professional regulations of the Zurich Bar Association. This document constitutes a formal Quotation Estimate for the professional services of a Lawyer (Attorney at Law / Advocate) to be rendered on behalf of the Client in connection with the matter described herein.
The Lawyer assigned to this engagement shall provide full legal representation, advisory services, and procedural advocacy before the competent courts and arbitration bodies in the Canton of Zurich and, where applicable, before the Swiss Federal Tribunal in Lausanne. All services shall be performed in strict compliance with Swiss law, the Zurich Code of Professional Conduct for Lawyers, and the applicable provisions of the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) and the Swiss Civil Procedure Code (ZPO).
The following Quotation Estimate sets out the anticipated professional fees for the Lawyer's services. All amounts are stated in Swiss Francs (CHF) and are exclusive of applicable Value Added Tax (VAT / MWST) at the standard rate of 8.1%, unless otherwise indicated. This Quotation Estimate is based on the current scope of work and may be subject to revision should the complexity of the matter materially change.

The Quotation Estimate above covers the professional fees of the Lawyer only. The following additional costs, which are not included in the estimated total, may be incurred during the proceedings and will be billed at actual cost with supporting receipts:
- Court filing fees and procedural costs as determined by the Zurich District Court (estimated CHF 1,500 – 5,000 depending on the amount in dispute);
- Costs of court-appointed expert witnesses or forensic accountants;
- Travel and accommodation expenses if the Lawyer is required to attend proceedings outside the Zurich metropolitan area (e.g., Bern, Lausanne, or Geneva);
- Costs of certified translations of documents into or from German, French, Italian, or English as required by the court;
- Notarial fees for the execution of any settlement agreement or power of attorney;
- Postage, courier, and electronic document service fees.
- Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, the Lawyer reserves the right to revise the fee structure to reflect current market rates and the prevailing cost of legal services in Zurich, Switzerland.
- Acceptance: The Client shall accept this Quotation Estimate in writing by signing and returning a copy of this document to the law firm within the validity period. Acceptance constitutes the formation of a mandate agreement (Auftragsvertrag) under Articles 394 et seq. of the Swiss Code of Obligations.
- Payment Terms: Professional fees shall be invoiced monthly in arrears. A retainer of 20% of the total estimated fees (CHF 3,970.00 excl. VAT) shall be payable upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate. All invoices are payable within thirty (30) days of the invoice date. Late payments shall accrue interest at the statutory rate of 5% per annum as provided under Article 104 of the Swiss Code of Obligations.
- Fee Revision: Should the scope of legal work expand materially beyond what is described in this Quotation Estimate, the Lawyer shall notify the Client in writing and issue a revised Quotation Estimate before commencing the additional work. No additional fees shall be charged without the Client's prior written consent.
- Confidentiality: The Lawyer is bound by the professional duty of confidentiality (Berufsgeheimnis) under Article 321 of the Swiss Criminal Code and the Zurich Bar Association's Code of Professional Conduct. All information obtained in the course of this engagement shall be treated as strictly confidential.
- Governing Law and Jurisdiction: This Quotation Estimate and the resulting mandate agreement shall be governed by the substantive law of Switzerland. Any disputes arising from or in connection with this Quotation Estimate shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zurich, Switzerland, unless mandatory provisions of Swiss law provide otherwise.
- Professional Indemnity Insurance: The Lawyer and the law firm maintain professional indemnity insurance in accordance with the requirements of the Swiss Federal Act on the Free Movement of Lawyers. The Client shall be named as a beneficiary under this policy for the duration of the mandate.
- Data Protection: The processing of the Client's personal data shall comply with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (DSG) and the applicable provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to the extent relevant for cross-border matters.
By signing below, the Client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate, confirms that the scope of legal services described herein accurately reflects the Client's requirements, and agrees to the terms and conditions set out above. The Lawyer confirms that this Quotation Estimate represents a good-faith estimate of the professional fees for the legal services to be rendered in Zurich, Switzerland, and that the Lawyer shall perform all duties with the diligence and competence expected of a qualified attorney at law practising in the Canton of Zurich.
