This Quotation Estimate is issued by Jonathan R. Whitfield, Esq., a licensed Lawyer in the State of California, to provide Ms. Elena M. - Preparation and filing of a civil complaint with the Los Angeles Superior Court regarding a breach of contract dispute involving a total claim amount not exceeding $250,000.
- Conducting all necessary discovery proceedings, including depositions, interrogatories, and requests for production of documents, within the Los Angeles County Superior Court system.
- Representation of the Client at all pre-trial conferences, mediation sessions, and settlement negotiations conducted in Los Angeles, United States.
- Full trial representation before a judge or jury in the Los Angeles Superior Court, Central District, should the matter proceed to trial.
- Post-judgment enforcement of any favorable ruling, including collection proceedings within the State of California.

In accordance with the standard practice of a Lawyer operating in Los Angeles, United States, the Client is required to provide an initial retainer deposit of $15,000.00 USD prior to the commencement of any legal work. This retainer shall be held in a client trust account at First Republic Bank, Los Angeles branch, in compliance with California Business and Professions Code Section 6147. Subsequent invoices shall be issued on a monthly basis, with payment due within thirty (30) days of the invoice date. The Lawyer reserves the right to withdraw from representation if the retainer balance falls below $5,000.00 and is not replenished within fifteen (15) business days.
Important: This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue (June 12, 2025 through July 12, 2025). Should the Client wish to proceed beyond this validity period, the Lawyer reserves the right to revise the Quotation Estimate to reflect any changes in court filing fees, expert witness availability, or applicable rate adjustments in the Los Angeles, United States legal market.- This Quotation Estimate constitutes a good-faith projection of fees and is not a guarantee of total costs. Actual fees may vary depending on the complexity and duration of the matter.
- All services shall be performed by the undersigned Lawyer or, with the Client's written consent, by qualified associates and paralegals at Whitfield & Associates Legal Group, Los Angeles, United States.
- The Client acknowledges that the Lawyer is licensed to practice law in the State of California and that all proceedings will be conducted in the courts of Los Angeles County, United States.
- Confidentiality and attorney-client privilege shall be maintained in full compliance with California Evidence Code Section 954 and the American Bar Association Model Rules of Professional Conduct.
- Any dispute arising from this Quotation Estimate or the engagement shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Los Angeles, California, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a retainer agreement. A separate written engagement letter must be executed by both parties before the Lawyer commences any legal work.
- The Client is responsible for all out-of-pocket expenses, including court costs, filing fees, travel within the Los Angeles metropolitan area, and expert witness compensation, as itemized in Section 3 above.
