- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiry date, all rates and totals are subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions in Canada Vancouver.
- Payment terms: 50% of the total Quotation Estimate amount is due upon contract execution; the remaining 50% shall be invoiced in equal monthly installments over the twelve-month service period.
- All payments are to be made in Canadian Dollars (CAD) via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the account designated by Northwest Pacific Library Consulting Inc. in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
- The Librarian engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall be a certified professional holding a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) degree and shall be in good standing with the Canadian Library Association (CLA).
- Any changes to the scope of Librarian services beyond those described in Section 2 of this document shall require a written amendment to this Quotation Estimate, signed by both parties, before additional work commences.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until both parties have executed the formal Service Agreement. It serves solely as a financial projection and scope reference for the proposed Librarian engagement in Canada Vancouver.
- All work performed under this Quotation Estimate shall comply with the Canada Labour Code, the British Columbia Employment Standards Act, and all applicable municipal bylaws of the City of Vancouver.
- Confidentiality: The Librarian shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding all patron information, institutional records, and proprietary data in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) of Canada.
- Termination: Either party may terminate the engagement with thirty (30) days written notice. In the event of early termination, the client shall be liable for all services rendered up to the termination date as reflected in this Quotation Estimate.
- This Quotation Estimate is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved through mediation in Vancouver, Canada before proceeding to litigation.
