- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, all pricing, particularly the COP-to-USD conversion rate, may be subject to revision due to market fluctuations in Colombia.
- Payment terms: 40% advance upon contract signing, 30% at the six-month milestone, and 30% upon successful completion of the twelve-month engagement. All payments shall be made via bank transfer to a Colombian financial institution in Medellín.
- The Librarian professional assigned to this project shall hold a minimum of a Master's degree in Library Science (Maestría en Ciencia de la Información) from a recognized Colombian or international university, with a minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in academic or public library settings in Colombia.
- All services shall be performed in compliance with Colombian labor law (Código Sustantivo del Trabajo, Decreto 2351 de 1965) and applicable regulations of the city of Medellín, Antioquia.
- Intellectual property of all reports, metadata schemas, and training materials developed under this engagement shall be jointly owned by the client and Medellín Knowledge Solutions S.A.S., as stipulated in the master service agreement.
- Force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, public health emergencies, or government-mandated closures in Medellín, shall suspend the service timeline without penalty to either party.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract. A formal service agreement must be executed by both parties before any work commences. The final contract shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia, with jurisdiction in the courts of Medellín, Antioquia.
- Any modifications to the scope of Librarian services described herein must be documented in a written amendment signed by both parties. Verbal agreements shall not be recognized.
