The Librarian engaged under this Quotation Estimate will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities within the Egypt Cairo library system:

• Full-time management of the main branch library located in Downtown Cairo, including cataloguing, classification, and indexing of all physical and digital collections.
• Development and implementation of a modernised digital catalogue system aligned with international library standards (MARC, Dublin Core) for all Egypt Cairo branch locations.
• Supervision of a team of six (6) assistant librarians and four (4) library technicians across three satellite branches in Giza, Maadi, and Heliopolis within the greater Egypt Cairo metropolitan area.
• Organisation of community reading programmes, author events, and educational workshops targeting students, researchers, and the general public of Egypt Cairo.
• Acquisition and procurement of new publications, periodicals, and digital resources in both Arabic and English to serve the diverse population of Egypt Cairo.
• Preservation and conservation of rare manuscripts and historical documents housed in the Cairo Metropolitan Library's special collections.
• Monthly reporting to the Director of the Cairo Metropolitan Library Authority on collection growth, patron statistics, and operational performance.

• This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Any acceptance beyond this period may be subject to revised pricing due to market fluctuations in Egypt Cairo.
• Payment shall be made in monthly instalments of EGP 180,215 (inclusive of VAT), due on the 5th business day of each month via bank transfer to Nile Knowledge Solutions Ltd., National Bank of Egypt, Cairo Main Branch.
• The Librarian professional shall be bound by a non-disclosure agreement covering all proprietary information, patron data, and institutional records of the Cairo Metropolitan Library Authority.
• All services described in this Quotation Estimate shall be performed in accordance with the Egyptian Library and Archives Law (Law No. 111 of 2012) and applicable regulations of the Supreme Council of Culture in Egypt Cairo.
• Nile Knowledge Solutions Ltd. reserves the right to substitute the primary Librarian with an equivalently qualified professional should circumstances require, provided prior written notice of fourteen (14) days is given to the client.
• Any changes to the scope of work outlined in this Quotation Estimate must be documented in a formal amendment signed by both parties before additional costs are incurred.
• This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until countersigned by an authorised representative of the Cairo Metropolitan Library Authority.
