Terms and Conditions of This Quotation Estimate
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After 15 July 2025, all rates and terms are subject to revision.
- All Librarian personnel assigned to this project in Germany Munich shall be fully qualified professionals holding at minimum a Master's degree in Library and Information Science (M.A. Bibliothekswissenschaft) or an equivalent credential recognised by the German Library Association (Deutscher Bibliotheksverband).
- The Librarian team will comply with all applicable German labour laws, data protection regulations (GDPR / DSGVO), and the specific operational policies of the client institution located in Munich, Bavaria.
- Payment terms: 50% advance payment upon contract signing; the remaining 50% shall be invoiced in two equal quarterly instalments (30% at month 6, 20% at month 12). Payment is due within 14 days of invoice receipt via bank transfer to our account at BayernLB, Munich.
- Any additional Librarian services beyond the scope defined in this Quotation Estimate will be subject to a separate written amendment and supplementary quotation.
- Force majeure events, including but not limited to public health emergencies affecting the Munich metropolitan area, may result in temporary service adjustments without penalty to either party.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until formally accepted in writing by both parties and countersigned by authorised representatives.
- All intellectual property, cataloguing metadata, and digital records created during the Librarian engagement shall remain the exclusive property of the client institution in Germany Munich.
Additional Notes
Important: This Quotation Estimate for Librarian services in Germany Munich assumes standard operating hours (08:00–18:00 CET, Monday to Friday). Weekend or holiday coverage, if required, will be quoted separately at 1.5× the standard Librarian hourly rate. All on-site work will be conducted at the client's premises in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. Travel and accommodation costs are not applicable as all Librarian staff are based in the Munich metropolitan area.
