- 3.1 This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, the rates for the Librarian engagement may be revised to reflect prevailing market conditions in India Mumbai.
- 3.2 Payment terms: 40% advance upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, 40% upon successful onboarding of the Librarian, and the remaining 20% upon completion of the first quarter of service delivery.
- 3.3 The Librarian shall work a standard 48-hour work week (Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM) at the client's premises in India Mumbai, unless mutually agreed otherwise in writing.
- 3.4 All statutory deductions including Professional Tax (as applicable in Maharashtra state, India Mumbai), TDS under Section 192 of the Income Tax Act, 1961, shall be borne by the client as per Indian tax regulations.
- 3.5 The Librarian shall be bound by a non-disclosure and intellectual property agreement specific to the client's institutional collection. This clause is integral to this Quotation Estimate.
- 3.6 Any additional services beyond the scope defined in this Quotation Estimate shall be subject to a separate written amendment and additional cost assessment.
- 3.7 Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through arbitration in India Mumbai in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
- 3.8 The Librarian shall maintain professional membership with the Indian Library Association (ILA) and the Maharashtra State Library Association throughout the engagement period.
