This Quotation Estimate is formally issued by Caracas Knowledge Solutions, C.A. to provide a comprehensive and transparent breakdown of costs associated with the engagement of a professional Librarian to deliver specialized library management, cataloging, and information retrieval services within the academic and institutional facilities located in Venezuela Caracas. This document serves as a binding proposal for the client to review, approve, or request modifications prior to the commencement of services. All pricing reflected in this Quotation Estimate is calculated in United States Dollars (USD) and is subject to the terms and conditions outlined herein.

The Librarian engagement proposed in this Quotation Estimate encompasses the following professional duties to be performed on-site in Venezuela Caracas:

Full management and supervision of the central library collection, including physical and digital resources, ensuring compliance with international cataloging standards (MARC 21, Dublin Core, and RDA).
Development and maintenance of the library's integrated management system (ILS), including database migration, indexing, and metadata quality assurance.
Design and implementation of reference services, interlibrary loan coordination, and digital resource access protocols for faculty, students, and research staff.
Conduct of monthly training workshops for library support staff on cataloging procedures, patron assistance, and information literacy programs.
Acquisition planning and vendor negotiation for new print and electronic materials, with a budget allocation framework tailored to the institution's academic priorities in Venezuela Caracas.
Monthly reporting to the university administration on collection growth, circulation statistics, user satisfaction metrics, and strategic recommendations.
Coordination with the national library network (Biblioteca Nacional de Venezuela) for resource sharing and collaborative digitization projects.

Note: The above Quotation Estimate does not include applicable Venezuelan value-added tax (IVA) or any municipal levies imposed by the Alcaldía de Chacao, Caracas. These will be added at the prevailing rate at the time of invoicing. All payments are to be made in USD via international wire transfer to the account designated by Caracas Knowledge Solutions, C.A.

Payment for the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be structured as follows: a 30% advance payment upon contract execution, followed by monthly installments of the remaining balance due on the 5th business day of each month. Late payments shall incur a penalty of 1.5% per month, calculated in accordance with Venezuelan commercial law. The Librarian engagement is contingent upon receipt of the initial advance payment.

This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiration date, all prices are subject to revision based on market conditions in Venezuela Caracas.
The Librarian shall comply with all applicable Venezuelan labor regulations, including those governed by the Ley Orgánica del Trabajo, and shall maintain professional liability insurance throughout the engagement period.
Caracas Knowledge Solutions, C.A. reserves the right to substitute the assigned Librarian with a professional of equivalent or superior qualifications, provided that the client is notified in writing at least fourteen (14) days in advance.
All intellectual property, cataloging records, and institutional data generated during the course of the Librarian engagement shall remain the exclusive property of the client institution in Venezuela Caracas.
Either party may terminate the agreement with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of early termination, the client shall be liable for all services rendered up to the termination date plus a 10% administrative fee.
This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a contract until formally accepted in writing by both parties and countersigned by their respective authorized representatives.
Disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved through arbitration in Caracas, Venezuela, in accordance with the rules of the Centro de Arbitraje y Mediación de la Cámara de Comercio de Caracas.
