SCOPE OF WORK – MARINE ENGINEER SERVICES IN AUSTRALIA BRISBANEThis Quotation Estimate is issued by Meridian Marine Engineering Solutions Pty Ltd to provide comprehensive Marine Engineer consultancy, inspection, and maintenance services for the client's fleet of commercial vessels operating within the Australia Brisbane port region and the broader Moreton Bay waters. The scope of work encompasses the full lifecycle of marine engineering support, from initial condition assessments through to ongoing preventive maintenance programmes, all conducted in strict compliance with Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) regulations, the International Maritime Organization (IMO) standards, and Queensland state maritime legislation.
The designated Marine Engineer, Ms. Sarah Whitfield (Certified Marine Engineer, MIMarE, 15+ years of experience), will be the primary point of contact and technical authority for all services outlined in this Quotation Estimate. All fieldwork will be conducted within the Australia Brisbane metropolitan area, including the Port of Brisbane, the Brisbane River estuary, and the surrounding coastal waters up to 20 nautical miles from the port boundary.

4.1 Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Should the client wish to proceed after the expiry date, the Marine Engineer service rates and total cost may be subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions in Australia Brisbane.
4.2 Payment Terms: Invoices will be issued monthly in arrears. Payment is due within fourteen (14) calendar days of the invoice date via direct bank transfer to the account specified on the invoice. Late payments will attract interest at the rate of 1.5% per month as permitted under the Australian Competition and Consumer Act 2010.
4.3 Scope Limitations: This Quotation Estimate covers the services of the designated Marine Engineer and their immediate support team only. It does not include the cost of spare parts, consumables, or third-party specialist services (e.g., NDT testing, propeller polishing) unless explicitly agreed in writing as a variation to this estimate.
4.4 Insurance and Liability: Meridian Marine Engineering Solutions Pty Ltd maintains professional indemnity insurance of no less than AUD $10,000,000 and public liability insurance of AUD $20,000,000. The Marine Engineer services are performed in accordance with all applicable Australian workplace health and safety legislation, including the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Qld).
4.5 Termination: Either party may terminate the engagement with thirty (30) days written notice. Upon termination, the client shall be liable for all services rendered up to the effective date of termination as detailed in this Quotation Estimate.
4.6 Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Queensland, Australia Brisbane jurisdiction.
Important Note: All rates quoted in this Quotation Estimate are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of the Marine Engineer's professional expertise, standard tools, and diagnostic equipment. Any work performed outside the defined Australia Brisbane service area (beyond 20 nautical miles from the Port of Brisbane) will be subject to an additional travel surcharge of $0.85 per nautical mile per engineer, to be confirmed in writing prior to mobilisation. 5. ACCEPTANCE AND AUTHORISATIONBy signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined in this Quotation Estimate for the Marine Engineer services to be delivered in Australia Brisbane. This signature constitutes a binding agreement between both parties for the duration specified herein.
