1. Project Overview & Scope of Work

This Quotation Estimate is issued by BC Marine Engineering Solutions Inc. to provide comprehensive Marine Engineer services for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of the vessel MV Pacific Horizon (IMO No. 9482716), a 62-metre multi-purpose cargo vessel currently berthed at the Port of Vancouver, Canada Vancouver waterfront terminal. The scope of work encompasses all mechanical, electrical, and structural marine engineering tasks required to restore the vessel to full operational compliance as mandated by Transport Canada and the Canadian Coast Guard.

Our team of certified Marine Engineer professionals, all holding valid Canadian Marine Engineering Licences (CME) issued under the Canada Shipping Act, 2001, will be deployed to the vessel over an estimated period of 18 working days. All work will be conducted in strict accordance with the International Maritime Organization (IMO) standards, Canadian maritime regulations, and the specific operational requirements of the Canada Vancouver port authority.

3. Terms and Conditions
  1. This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, pricing may be subject to revision due to fluctuating material costs, exchange rates, or labour market conditions in the Canada Vancouver region.
  2. All Marine Engineer personnel assigned to this project will hold current and valid Canadian Marine Engineering Licences. Proof of licensing and insurance will be provided to the client prior to commencement of work.
  3. The client is responsible for providing safe access to the vessel, adequate working berths at the Canada Vancouver port facility, and all necessary permits and clearances from the Port of Vancouver Authority and the Canada Coast Guard.
  4. Payment terms: 30% deposit upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, 40% upon completion of major mechanical works (Items 1–3), and 30% upon final sign-off and delivery of the compliance report.
  5. All work is subject to a twelve-month warranty on labour and workmanship. Manufacturer warranties on replacement parts and components will be passed through to the client as applicable.
  6. Any work beyond the scope described in this Quotation Estimate will be subject to a separate written change order, signed by both parties, before execution.
  7. This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until countersigned by both parties. Acceptance of this document constitutes agreement to all terms stated herein.
  8. Disputes arising from this engagement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable to maritime and commercial matters.
  9. BC Marine Engineering Solutions Inc. carries comprehensive liability insurance of $10,000,000 CAD and workers' compensation coverage as required by the Workers' Compensation Board of British Columbia.
4. Acceptance and Authorization

By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and authorizes BC Marine Engineering Solutions Inc. to proceed with the Marine Engineer services described herein at the Canada Vancouver port facility, subject to the terms and conditions outlined above.
