All pricing, terms, and conditions contained in this Quotation Estimate are subject to the regulatory framework governing marine engineering consultancy in the People's Republic of China, including compliance with the China Classification Society (CCS) standards and the Maritime Safety Administration of China (MSA) regulations applicable in the China Beijing metropolitan and surrounding port regions.

The Marine Engineer engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall perform the following duties and responsibilities on behalf of the client in China Beijing:

Marine Vessel Inspection and Condition Assessment: Conduct thorough structural, mechanical, and electrical inspections of commercial vessels berthed at the Beijing-adjacent port facilities, including the Daxing and Tongzhou waterway terminals. Payment for the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be made via bank transfer to the account of Pacific Oceanic Engineering Consultants Ltd. in accordance with the following schedule:

  • 30% advance payment (CNY 386,211) upon execution of the service agreement and receipt of the signed Quotation Estimate.
  • 40% progress payment (CNY 514,948) payable upon completion of the mid-project milestone, which includes the delivery of all vessel inspection reports and the propulsion overhaul plan.
  • 30% final payment (CNY 386,211) payable within thirty (30) calendar days of the final project acceptance and submission of the comprehensive closing report to the client in China Beijing.

All invoices shall be issued in accordance with the tax regulations of the State Taxation Administration of China. Late payments shall attract a penalty interest of 0.05% per calendar day on the outstanding balance.

The total duration of the Marine Engineer engagement under this Quotation Estimate is estimated at twelve (12) months, commencing on 1 August 2025 and concluding on 31 July 2026. Key milestones are as follows:

  • The Marine Engineer shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of CNY 5,000,000 throughout the duration of the engagement in China Beijing.
  • All intellectual property, reports, and documentation produced under this engagement shall become the sole property of the client upon full and final payment.
  • Either party may terminate this agreement with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of early termination, the client shall be liable for all services rendered up to the date of termination, as itemized in this Quotation Estimate.
  • All disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the rules of the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) in Beijing.
