This Quotation Estimate is prepared in response to the formal request issued by the Cairo Port Authority for the engagement of a qualified Marine Engineer to oversee, inspect, and maintain marine infrastructure and vessel-related systems within the operational boundaries of Egypt Cairo. The scope encompasses the following deliverables:

  • Comprehensive inspection and condition assessment of all dockside cranes, fender systems, and mooring equipment at the Cairo inland waterway terminals.
  • Design review and technical supervision of the new 12-meter-deep berthing structure currently under construction along the Nile tributary in Egypt Cairo.
  • Monthly preventive maintenance scheduling and execution oversight for marine auxiliary machinery, including ballast pumps, bilge systems, and navigation aids.
  • Preparation of detailed engineering reports, compliance documentation, and regulatory filings in accordance with Egyptian Maritime Authority (EMA) standards.
  • On-site technical advisory support for a period of twelve (12) consecutive months, with a minimum of 20 working days per month physically present at the Egypt Cairo project site.
  • Emergency response consultation and 24/7 availability for critical marine engineering failures affecting port operations.

  • 30% advance payment upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate and execution of the service contract.
  • Remaining 70% payable in twelve (12) equal monthly installments, due on the 5th business day of each month following service delivery.
  • All payments to be made via bank transfer to Nile Delta Marine Engineering Solutions, Commercial International Bank, Cairo Branch, Egypt Cairo.
  • Late payments shall incur a penalty of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.
  • This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, pricing may be revised to reflect market conditions in Egypt Cairo.
  • The Marine Engineer assigned shall hold a minimum of 15 years of professional experience in marine and port engineering, with valid Egyptian professional license registration.
  • All work shall comply with Egyptian Civil Code, EMA regulations, and applicable international maritime standards (IMO, ISO 19900 series).
  • The client shall provide safe access to all project sites within Egypt Cairo, necessary permits, and coordination with local authorities.
  • Force majeure events, including but not limited to flooding of the Nile, government-mandated shutdowns, or geopolitical disruptions, shall suspend obligations without penalty.
  • Intellectual property of all engineering reports and design documents produced under this engagement shall vest in the client upon full payment.
  • Disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved through arbitration under the Egyptian Arbitration Law No. 27 of 1994, seated in Egypt Cairo.
